Should my first cycle rever consist of only one compound

I was thinking of running a test p and dbol cycle. Test p 500mg/week for 6 weekd and dbol 20mg/day for 4 weeks.
Should I take out the Dianabol since this is my first cycle?
If I do only the test p, how much will i gain?

My stats:

29 years old
6' feet
194 lb
4 years training
 
How about this instead. Test C or Test E for 10-12 weeks. No Dbol.
2 pins per week.
Ai & HCG on cycle.
Clomid/Nolva pct.
Nice solid basic first cycle.
 
Most, including myself will tell you to run just 1 compound for your first cycle. That one compound should be testosterone, somewhere around the 400-600mg range per week 12-14 weeks. I'd recommend a long estered test like enanthate or cypionate so you will only have to inject twice a week. Prop has to be injected at least every other day to keep stable levels. And 6 weeks is short, even for prop. 8-10 weeks would be better.

Your gains will depend solely on your diet and training. If you're pretty shredded already, I'd aim for an all out bulk and eat a ton of good calories. If you want to drop some fat, eat very clean and figure out how many calories you need to eat to acheive your goals.

Im planning my first cycle for about 6-12 months from now and I think most people would recommend a simple test c or e cycle with no other compounds, check the beginners sticky has good info on hcg dosage and pct. and I don't think anyone can begin to predict how much you'll gain... Diet, training, genetics, how u respond to test... Too many variables.
 
I'm going to piggy back a question here to the more knowledgable here. I am Aldo planning out a first cycle a ways out from now and like OP here I'm sure we both want out first cycles to be as effective as possible but also safe. That being said I fully understand the reason behind not mixing stuff incase you get sides so you know what is causing what, but why not run test for 5 weeks or so so you know the sides and then throw in some deca or something? Is the one compound recommendation also to see how you recover from test alone?

You want to establish some baselines with your first cycle. Your response to EVERYTHING not just test. For example your ai dosage etc. Why throw in something like deca 5 weeks in when things are just stabilizing and go and complicate matters that much more. Plus you can make astounding gains on a properly run test only cycle. Diet , training and rest on point of course.

Well side effects can show up at any time. Even late in a cycle. I wouldn't do it with deca because then you're extending your cycle at least another 12 weeks. But technically you could throw in a mild oral as a finisher, but god forbid a side effect does show up at the end and you still don't know what caused it.

Thats a pretty wise way to do it. Its not a sprint, its a marathon. Make your decisions accordingly. If you do it that way you will learn how you truly respond to the individual compound. I like say a first cycle of test only, second cycle of test & deca and so on.

How much will you gain?? Water, fat or LMM.......Please no one can tell you what you will gain. How will you train, what is your metabolism like, are you a hard gainer? Your training, your cardio, your genetics who knows? also how much will you retain. It's all about your diet and training.

Everyone is different and reacts differently to all the things mentioned. No need for Dbol you will probably just fill up with water at this stage. You need to learn how to train and how to eat as to how your body is reacting, recovering and utilizing the changes and the sides, if any.

I want to know what you think my cycle. I would like to have a second opinion on the cycle.

Testosterone propionate: 500mg / week for 6 weeks
Dianabol: 20mg / week for the first 4 weeks
Liver protector: 150mg / day the first 4 weeks
Nolvadex (tamoxifen): 20mg /day the 6 weeks

Post-cycle: it shall begin one week after the last injection of testosterone

-40mg/Day of tamoxifen for six weeks

-HCG Starting during the cycle on week 4, taken as follows:

Week 1: 500ui / week
Week 2: 500ui / week
Week 3: 1000 IU / week
Week 4: 1000 IU / week
Week 5: 1000 IU / week
Week 6: 500ui / week
Week 7: 500ui / week

I plan to go to the gym 3/4 times a week for two hours. Besides I 2 hour aerobic twice a week
That bit of information holds no material to work with, as in your case, it's not about how long you stand inside of a gym, rather the quality of the exercises themselves, the amount of effort you're so eager to put into your cycle should be put into your training and nutrition x10
