aight so I donu if this is the right place to post it but maybe one of you can help out. I was hittin the gym today and a bump came out of my right shoulder right where the shoulder and the collar bone meet. I have no idea what it is and it kind of hurts to put pressure on heres some pics to help out:dunno:

Its the the shiny red bump on the shoulder doesnt really look like much in the pics but it is abnormal compared to the other shoulder. anyways just lookin for some advice

no no pain anymore and no pop i just saw it today while at the gym and it wasnt there before its fucking weird

could be a sprain of the clavicle. I sprained mine where the clavicle meets the sternum. It's prob a partial tear of one of the ligaments. These injuries take A LOT of time to get better. Mine took a little over a year... mostly because I was too stubborn to take a couple weeks completely off. I would def go see your doctor and get an MRI done so you can know for sure if there is a tear there.

good luck

cant really take time off since i alrdy started my cycle it dont really hurt that much but if it continues to hurt i'll get it looked at thing is i got no medical right now but couple weeks down the road i will just have to tough it out for now ,....fuck:noway:

Hi you have subluxed if not dislocated your ACjt (acromioclavicular joint). Please see your GP who will refer you to the appropriate health care professional. Physio can help but needs to be seen ASAP. The longer you leave it the harder it may be to fix conservatively as fibrous adhesions can form around the joint making it more difficult to relocate. Often a physio will use joint distraction techniques to relocate. Hope this helps good luck.

being as i have no health insurance what would be the cheapest way to go about doing that because if i go to this walk in clinic to get referred to another it's going to cost me a minimum of 100 buks

Sorry I am from the UK (thank fvck) and I have no idea how your fvcked up medical system works. Sorry but the USA needs to evolve.... quality health care should be available to everyone and should not be dependent on status, wealth etc.
Also while I am on my soap box.... 55% of Americans are creationists! the world is less than 6,000 years old, are you kidding me!!!!!! The dog has been domesticated longer than that. The USA is supposed to be the most powerful and developed country in the world what a joke (start the flaming).

Smoky,

I have had the same condition for years but has never bothered me. When I was seeing my prolotherapist regularly, he did a few injections in that area to tighten up the ligaments. I would not get off the gear.

Synergist,
Your soap box would be entertaining to discuss but won't on this post.

sounds like AC joint brother. either a seperation or a tear maybe...did the same thing benching, only at about 80% and took couple months to get back to normal. would suggest not being stubborn, like i was and most are, and resting it. trust me, i was a dumbass and it still bothers me now. Simmer down and let it heal, you'll gain your strength back fairly quickly.

Who in the hell said anything about the world being less than 6000 years old? I'm pretty sure none of us give a fuck that you're jealous of America.

no its might possibly be the simple fact that your "arguement" has nothing to do with this thread. take your soap box and retarded comments else where... being a creationist obviously has a lot to do with my man's shoulder. you that bored and no one else will listen? great place to talk about health care moron. maybe you can find a bum down at the corner store who gives a sh!t

According to a 2001 Gallup poll, about 45% of North Americans believe that "God created human beings pretty much in their present form at one time within the last 10,000 years or so. Jealous? not of creationist ignorance. Maybe your athletic achievements in the Olympics.

His need for health care and not being able to afford it has everything to do with this thread. His point not mine. My other comment is just to highlight that the USA is not the developed nation it likes to proclaim. However you are right I should have started another thread. I Just wanted an excuse to get this one started.

That would be any christian dumbass..you know..the kinds that are also in the UK? Pretty sure I've learned enough about evolution and heredity in my medical degree to know the difference. Let's bring up other irrelevant information, do you still have wooden teeth over there in Brittain?

My ac joint is killing me also. Cant do dips or rear delts and need to bench with about 100lbs less to keep pain away. Any ideas on how to work around it to allow it to heal? Way to not incorporate ac for pecs? I think i should just stay away from traps and shoulders? I seem to do bi's fine unless super heavy.
