make sure you hit your rehab hard it will help heal faster and make for a more speedy recovery. Glad no surgery was needed i was confident the cortisone shot and therapy would get the job done for you.
Prolozone therepy will speed that healing even more. I had some done on my hand yesterday. If i have an injury than is taking too long to heal. I go with Physiotherapy first, and Prolozone or Prolotherepy It it's taking to long to heal. Then there is always surgery as a last resort. But i would still do Prolozone after the surgery to speed the healing.
I have a similar situation with a labrum tear and some other issues related to 30 years of lifting. I had a shot which helped but only temporarily. Looks like I will be having surgery and will likely run Tb500 during the recovery. There is nothing to lose but time by trying shots and P.T. but there are plenty of downsides to unnecessary surgery so I applaud your doctor.
Prolozone therapy sounds promising, I will have to do some research on that.
