OK,

About 3 weeks ago, i had shoulder pain in the front of my shoulder, i went to the specialist he said it wasnt torn just some inflammation, it went away.

but there has been 3 occasions of pain ever since. the other day i was working my shoulders, and i was taking a 5kg weight of a dumbell and felt a click in my shoulder and then the pain was back for about 4 days, i thought it may of been an imbalance between the front and rear of my rear delt is quite weak especially in the left one where i am experiencing this ache . So today i went and did some rotator cuff work and rear delts/back at the gym and felt no pain until i did 3 sets of bicep curls, then i picked up the bar to do 1 last set and i felt pain in the front of my shoulder. now there is a dull ache,

I dont know how else i can describe it but can any one sort of give a idea of what they think could be the problem?

EDIT; and its annoying as because i just ordered a cycle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like you may have torn the transverse ligament. Thats the ligament that holds the bicep tendon into the bicipital groove of the humerus. Hopefully only a partial tear. Could also just be some tendonitis. I would recommend that you ice it anyway to get the inflammation down 20min/hour. Modify your bi workout to keep the pressure off that area. Concentration curls would do the trick and maybe preacher curls. Stay away from cheat curls standing.
 
I go with tendinitis or bursitis , the recurrence of the exact pain with the click are my clues
and a pain in the ligament can't just go in 4 days as far as I know :)
anyway, get some rest to the area and start light exercise gradually back to normal

I feel your pain.. I have had a bad shoulder for years and it used to rob me of a good chest workout when its hurting. My buddie turned me on to this shoulder sling and it saved my workouts.. Of course its not going to fix any problem you are having, but it helps tons with the pain. I use it right after any chest or shoulder work out for 30 min and then jump into a warm shower.

man i know how you feel,i just came off shoulder impinement/labrum surgery in jan,still recoverying well,now about 3 weeks ago my right shoulder started to hurt,so i went to the doctor friday and he done some test and he said it was an inflammed rotator cuff and gave me a cortizone injection,so hopefully it will get better,

in your case,i would see an orthopedic doctor and talk to him,that way you will know for sure

Yoga is the best exercise to relief from this back shoulder pain and you can perform it easily at home and side by side it also help you to prevent from heart diseases.
 
hi im new here and just posted my first thread about my shoulder, dfeaton1 described excactly what i had done to my shoulder, it up to you but until i had surgery it was a painful and recurring injury like you said sore for four days. with mine there was no sense to when it would go, i could do an exercise 9 time and on the 10 it would go, resulting on a heavy weight dropping fast and painfully. sorry to sound negative i would really be careful tho mate. apart from being careful which exercises to do, i would also be carefull as i found my shoulder would go when i was try for those few extra reps, makes sence once the muscle fatigues theres no protection or support for the join. hope it is just inflammed and you dont get to frustrated waiting and resting.
