Sides of Clomid : what is the cause? Estrogen levels?

Ok so we know Clomid has side effects like acne and it's also supposed to have an influence on your emotional state (makes you a "bitch"...), all this sounds very much like estrogen sides.
Some say that these sides are here because you just stopped using AAS, although it may be partially true, I know for a fact that these sides can happen from Clomid use alone.

My questions are : do we know if Clomid can raise estrogen levels? Does Clomid cause usual side effects of high E like high blood pressure and so on? Is taking an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) like Aromasin a good way to lower Clomid's side effects?

whats your dose with aromasin? Are you using it with post cycle therapy (pct)? If so why?

I'm not currently using Aromasin with my post cycle therapy (pct), but considering the sides of Clomid I wonder if Aromasin/Exemestane would be a good thing to take along, I don't know what the sides of Clomid are caused by, but if they're a result of the fact that Clomid is an estrogen itself or that it somehow raises estrogen, then Aromasin could help with the sides.

I also read that some use Aromasin at the end of the PCT (at least 1 week after the end of Clomid) to avoid "estrogen rebound".

It has nothing to do with estrogen. It also stimulates a part in your brain that controls emotions. But personally I find this side effect to be heavily exaggerated.

I'm reporting to say that Aromasin seems to have effectively suppressed the acne side effect of Clomid for me.

My E2 was 36 after 2 days of 12.5mg use, I don't know how fast the Aromasin/Exemestane can be so I don't know how high was the E2 before. I will try to end up the post cycle therapy (pct) with a level somewhere between 20 and 25 (for that I now use much less Aromasin).
