well ive been trying to cut weight this whole summer so far, and it seems like i cant get to where i want to be. i have lost about 1 percent of bodyfat and pretty much weigh the same. i dont get it. my diet isnt strict as in i dont know what or when i am going to eat because i work as a mover all day. i definately do not go over 3000 calories per day but ive been taking clen at 80mcg per day for two full cycle so far. im actually 17% bf at 249lbs. I really want to get to 12% bodyfat but i know that this is not possible right away. any suggestions? i usually run for 10 min after i lift, and HIIT on cardio days. its really strange how last week i was 243 and this week i jumped up to 249, and i havent changed a thing. could it be water retention?

Hmm, have you been monitoring your bf% consistently. B/c if you've lost 1% and weigh more, that means you might have actually gained some muscle. What does your diet look like? How often do you eat?

my diet is very unpredictable. for breakfast i might have a bagel with cream cheese and coffee or and egg and cheese sandwich

for lunch ill have whatever i can get in the area of the move like pizza, deli sandwich, etc

for my 3rd meal ill have anything at home with protein and carbs like chicken and rice and then for my last meal ill do the same except low carbs.

i eat a lot of vegetables throughout every meal and fruit as well

like i said many of you will say it sucks but its all i can do

Sorry to break it to you sweetheart, but these foods are probably what could be contributing to the problem. I know that you are aware that they aren't necessarily appropriate as cutting foods also ;) So really, you just need to find a way to get the proper types of food at the right times. What has ALWAYS helped for me is to keep a food log. The night before, I plan ahead what I'm going to eat, add up the calories/carbs/fats/protein. Only takes 5 mins tops, but is a great guideline for the next day. Plus, it's easier to carb-cycle when you know exactly how many carbs you are doing. Carb cycling is VERY effective imo and has always been a favorite of mine. But, I encourage you to go by trial and error and see what technique works best for you when cutting. But just remember this: you need to either be burning more calories than you yourself burn, or taking in less calories than you burn PERIOD. I'm sure you already know this, but it's a good reminder.

Yeah, b/c honestly, I will go off of protein shakes all day if I have to if all I would have access to is pizza and egg Mcmuffins (even though they're tempting). Or better yet, pack along a decent meal in a cooler like Double3 recommended.

i can try to clean it up, but we really only get a half hour for lunch and thats it but i can def do protein shakes and oatmeal. what is an example of carb cycling?

Like this: for two days you go VERY low carb, for the next two days after that you do a moderate carb day, and for one day a high carb day. This tends to trick your metabolism and stop it from adapting to a specific regime, thus allowing your body to burn more fat. Keep in mind though, on top of being low calorie, fat intake is higher on low carb days and lower on high carb days. It's a nice program because your energy levels are more sustained than when on an all around low carb diet.

I only get half an hour lunch break on my job as well, but here's my theory: if they let you have a water bottle, then they should let you have a protein shake. I mean, it's not like your sitting down for 15 minutes and having a huge meal. It's just to keep your body from going catabolic, or into a muscle-wasting state, you see.

Pack a decent sized lunch cooler full of good food and you can eat every time you sit behind the wheel. Doing this will also help you keep your portions small.
improvise, adapt, overcome

Do you have a printable food log that you use, or self made. i am looking for a nice food log that i can use to help me with this as well.

yeah gotta admit with what pretty much every1s said get your self a cooler and prepair your meals the night before thats what I do.

My jobs pretty much the same when it comes to selection of foods not a healthy bite in site, I know its easy to grab a Wopper or big mac cos its there n tastes great but you gotta look at food for what it is FUEL. you only get out what you put in an if your puttin a pizza or big mac away everyday its gonna catch up with ya.

Anyway back on topic yeah prep your meals, get a cooler and rember what your meals are, no more of this 'Thats all I can do' you want solutions not excuses.
good luck with the diet pal let us know how it goes.
