Slin Pin Size?

Found that there are several sizes of slin pins. Ranging from 28 gauge to 31 and 1/2 inch to 5/16 inch. Anyone have recommendations for peptides?

Thanks,
Toshiro

Gauge refers to the thickness of the needle. The higher the gauge number, the thinner the needle. The thinnner the needle, the less discomfort. Honestly, I use a 28 gauge slin pin for my sub-q peptide injections, and I feel nothing.

Thanks Guys, I figured any of those sizes will work. Just wanted to see what your thoughts were. After all, I want to make sure my test subject is comfortable.

Take care,
Toshiro

For peptides I like 29g 1/2cc 1/2 inch pins. The 1/2cc ones are much easier to get smaller doses more accurate.

Thanks Meathead96, I'll check that out next time. I just got 1CC's this time around. I figured for the 1CC pins, I'd mix 2ml for 2mg that way per the peptide calc every 5 ticks or the bold #'s 10,20,30, (10iu's) is 100mcg. Figured it would be easy to read that way too.
