So many Johnny bravos at golds where I lift/ what gives?

carverelli

I am banned!
Why us this so prevalent today ? I have a few ideas

1- the time it takes to train the lower body takes away from upper body development

2- they actually think it's more asthetic to have a upper body out of proportion with the lower half

3- they're lazy and would rather not train legs because it's just too dam hard

4- just maybe they only have a partial mirror and never see they're legs

Any thoughts ? Too me the legs are the other half of the body, and the base the upper half is built on. I just don't understand why would any dude not train both halfs

I would say rule 3 applies in most situations. They probably wouldnt admit theyre lazy or because its too hard, but most people i know only find every fucking excuse known to man on LEG day. Also theyre obsessed with big arms and how much they can bench over anything else

Back day and leg days definitely beat me up more than delt / arms / chest days. But that's how you know you're killing it IMO. And I workout in the morning so I can just sleep the next eight hours at my desk hahaha.

So I guess I can understand someone with barely enough motivation to get to the gym skipping the toughest workouts and picking the low-hanging, most visible fruit (arms/delts/chest/whatever)

Also if they wear track/sweatpants all the time like most of the bros at my gym do, they don't have to see the evidence.

Pure laziness bro thats it, lot of guy say ohh i have a bad knee or my hips hurt when i do squats, fuck that, its being lazy, no one in their right mind thinks a pair of sticks looks good supporting a built upper half.

My gut tells me your spot on brother. With that said, I really believe there are some that lift strictly for the effect it has to pull in the puss, especially 25 and younger guys. And if they only worked he upper half it gives them more time to chase tail. They believe the time spent chasing ass would be better rewarded doing just that than spending that time training legs

It is pure laziness. I hate guys that want to train with me just on days when I do upper body. Man up and hit those damn wheels.

Everybody wants to be a bodybuilder but nobody wants to hit them legs dude, its a hard workout that requite a lot of focus and energy, i made up for guys that dont train legs, i hit those suckers twice this week!! Man hitting weight to get puss lol some peoples kids. But i think youre right when it comes to younger guys and wanting to girls.

Big ass wheels is a sign of a dedicated bodybuilder, a lot of dudes can rock a muscle shirt and get looks but how many dudes can put on shorts and turn peoples heads, not many.

Last summer I tried like hell to find one of my old pair of "bike" coach shorts.
Wife said after I looked for a hour she had chucked them years ago.

I remember having too constantly pull the legs down cuz they kept riding up my legs lol
