Something to think about with AAS and BC

I recently found a lump in my breast during an Anavar cycle.
After getting a blood test and exam, it was determined to by gyno caused by the excess of androgens and hormones from my birth control.
I have gotten it to shrink with nolva and my obgyn. is confident it should go away completely, but if it doesnt I'll have to get it surgically removed.
This was the first time I have ever heard about a woman getting gyno from AAS, so I wanted to share, and let you all know that it is a risk that needs to be considered. Make sure you are willing to take the risks before you take anything.

Again, I'm glad you're OK, and its not BC. This was definitely a new thing for me to hear.

I never would have thought of that...So it shrinking with the nolva, good.
So are you ending the cycle or the BC?
And is this just a certain type of BC that reacts this way or do all have this possibility?

I actually chose the depo shot since it was not estrogen based, which makes it less likely to cause issues with a hormone imbalance of this kind.

The cycle is over and Im still considering everything else.

I'll let Blondie go into details if she wants, but I will say it doesn't sound like it was the BC at all. That's the weird part. I can understand excess estrogen levels also, but would have never imagined added breast tissue because of it, certainly not in the form of a lump.

It was an excess of progesterone from the bc and the anavar also. This is not my assessment but its my obgyns with the blood test and exam.

Im just glad its going away, it was very scary.

Thanks for sharing this! I have heard of this before although it is not common! I'm glad it is nothing more serious.
