Squats and deads...How often?

How often do you guys do dl's and sq's? Both ew? Sq one week, dl the next? I know doing both ew depends on each individuals recovery, but just wanted to see how you guys put them in.
 
Squats once a week like every other muscle. Deads every 2 weeks, but I think I should start doing it once a week because my squats are improving alot faster.
 
i squat and dead once every 12 days, they are not on the same day though... usually about a week or so apart, but ill repeat an exercise usually about every 12 days
 
right now i am doing a dead or dead variation and squatting both once a week. The squats are speed squats and the deads are either on their own day, or after the speed squats.
 
speed squats and speed pulls are done very week..some weeks i do a maxon a box and will hit speed squats later in the week..so once in awhile im squatting twice per week
 
Squats and deads are hard on your body, that's why they give results, in the case of these exercises less is more--I squat once a week--very heavy and I deadlift once a week very heavy. But it is important to pay attention to your body, if you feel that you are getting overtrained then you should squat and deadlift a bit less often, if you are recuperating very fast you may be able to add an additional squat session into your week. Everyone is different so it is difficult to give exact numbers.

good info . many people can handle squatting weekly but not pulling from the floor so every other week from the floor and on the off week some rack pulls,goodmornings ,etc. to mix it up .
 
Every other week..... The two are what separates the men from the boys... People that dont do them would be alot bigger if they did...
 
We squat every week and deadlift from the floor maybe once a month if that. We pull out of the rack every other week or so.
 
I try and do heavy dl's and sq's once a week. Sometimes I am still too sore by the next week, so OCCASSIONALLY I skip a week to let my body rest up and rebuild itself. Usually once a week works well for me.
 
beginners should definitely squat every week and dead every other week. But over time, you're body adapts to the DLs and as you develop a stronger lower and mid back, you must do deads every week. If not, you're missing out on major gains.
