Stan Mcquay

I used to train at the same gym as Stan and I used to see Scott kicking his ass in the gym every day.Ive never seen a trainer who trains himself and his clients so hard yet maintains perfect form and technique as Scott(Marshall). He has trained and prepared many champions...and he trains them all very hard. Stan was always one of the hardest training clients I ever saw him train. I know Scott has worked with many Natural athletes and made" anabolic type" of progress. I don't know if Stan takes steroids or not - but I know he has learned what works and what doesn't for him. Most people could take steroids for years and never develope a physique even close to the level he has.
I remember when he started he was pretty small - but he busted his ass and learned from one of the best in the business. I wish him the best and I hope he earns his pro card soon.

hey, Stan just posted that he's planning to move up to the next weight class, dunno but I think it might hurt his chances at getting up to pro level, but we'll see.....btw he mentioned Scott in one of his interviews, don't remember which though, and he did mention how hard he trained with him for his first show in 5 weeks.

Wake up "bambam"! You fell asleep and called your hand Stan again...

Does anyone know where Scott (Marshall) is training these days. Or where he trains his athletes/clients. Last I heard he was coaching olympic gymnasts in their strength/conditioning training. He use to work with Stan and others at Powerhouse gym (chatsworth,ca),I think that's why Stan Moved up so quickly in the beginning years of his career. He really knows his shit!
If anyone knows how to get a hold of him please post.I am trying to compete this year again and it would really help me .

Maybe bambam can ask Stan for us.

I'm only teasing ya bambam....
I'm more interested in Marshall's contest prep. training than in Stan's shows anyway.

Not True, the gains that Stan has experienced are strictly, and totally Steroidal. The word "natural" should not be used in the same sentence as Stan Macquay. Nobody in this entire planet has enough natural testosterone in their body to gain and maintain that much mass...Period!!!!!!!Please don't be so naive.

Agreed. If anyone believes he's natural, I have some swamp land to sell ya!

bambam-
Thanks for the info. I would appreciate it- if you see him tell him someone is in desperate need of his sevices. I've seen what he has done with many of his clients...pretty impressive. I'll pay him whatever. Good lookin' out Bambam.
Do you compete? If so are you doing any of the So Cal shows this year. I was going to do the "Cal", but I think I need a little more time so maybe the "L.A.". I did the Cal last year but I miss- timed a few things.
Thanks again!

anyone repping 365lbs for 10 reps for a set and weights 200lbs off season thats a lot of freaking weight to rep for natural in my book at 200lbs at least.

just because somebody can rep 365 and weighs 200 has nothing to do with if they are natural or not. There is a guy at my gym that weighs 195 and can max 495 and he is natural.

There was a guy at my high school last year doing 300 and he weight like 140, nuts....anyway, I dunno about now, but Stan competed in musclemania, tested events....

Stan is part Asian. I'm sorry but it's very difficult for Asians to develop that sort of natural muscularity. I know what I just said will offend some people but it's the truth. He's not natural. Sorry to disappoint you guys.

you will have to to say it's hard for Irish people to get big too because that's his other half. Oh and I know quite a few large Asian people that would not be happy that you are acusing them of taking steroids because they are big mo fo's.

dude about the asian remark thats plain ignorance because asian are small due to the fact of poor nutrition, but if you raise a asian here in america well food is a abundance they can get big as any old american. My cousins is 6ft (a real midget) comes in at 250lbs (small asian) he was raised here in america, but his parents are 5ft (really tall) so you figure it out. As for strength and claiming natural anyone can claim natural sure I can get off gear for 1 week and say im natural and still bench super huge weights. He is on it for sure thats like saying Kris Dim is natural and he is a pro......

Stan Mc Quay is MY objective in Body-Building. I am a real fan of this man, his physique, his proportions, symetry, cut & mass ...

It's sure, he's not natural, but in this sport, who is natural ? It's not important for me, i'm not natural since sept 2002.

There are other pics of him, enjoy :)
