Started first cycle ever this week. Test e 500 m/g wk

So I have started my first cycle ever this week. Really stoked to see where this takes me. I am 36 yo, 6'6" and 225lbs. I have been training hard for about 2.5 years. I have been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for a while now. Now I'm running my first real cycle. I will be running 500 m/g test e with pins 250 on Monday and Thurs. my doctor has also recently put me on semorelin and I will be doing daily injections of it. I plan on taking arimidex @ .25 eod. My diet is pretty sound, I'm in the process of bulking and all continue to for the cycle. I am eating around 4000 calories a day and have been sticking close to a 40-40-20. I am going to really get stricter on eating clean for here on out and will probably increase cals as cycle progresses. My training will be:
Monday: legs
Tuesday: off
Wednesday: push
Thursday: off
Friday: pull
Saturday: off
Sunday: repeat

I will be working most exercises in 4-5 sets of 6-8 reps and trying to add weight to bar each week.

For my testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) I had been going to dr for pins, but I have done my first two solo pins this'd week. Monday was in to right quad, had some nerves for sure but it went pretty smoothly. Had some pain(tightness) in quad of a few days. I think mostly from inadvertently moving needle in muscle while trying to inject. Sure that all et better as I get better at pinning. Thursday pinned left quad, and again went smoothly and again had some stiffness in quad that cleared by saturday. I will try to do a better job at logging daily for any that are interested. I will get some before pics up soon too.
 
Part of it is that you are injecting a lot more volume than you did on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) so you need the muscle to get used to it.

You might want to try delts too. Goes in like butter. :-)

Trt doc always pinned my glutes. I guess I was surprised about the force you have to push on the syringe, because of thickness of oil I assume. When u pin delts do u hit rear delts?
 
Also am curious what to expect as far as gains from my first cycle. Diet is good, I think training and rest is good to go. Won't need to pct as I will be just dropping back down to Trt level doses after cycle.
 
So today I did third inject of 250mg test e. Today I pinned my left delt , went smoothly and so far no pip. Feels great. Started new workout regimen today and had a great workout! Had a ton of energy and motivation. I'm sure mostly because I'm so amped about this cycle and also starting this new program. Absolutely crushed the workout today. I dropped my weights a bit since I added a ton of volume , wanted to be effective through out workout , each exercise I felt I could of added weight but I didn't want to over do it. But I will definitely be adding weight next time.
 
Today's workout:
Squats 225x12 275x8 275x8 275x8 275x8
Straight leg dead lifts 135x10 4 sets
Leg press 350 x12 4 sets
Calf raises standing 270x15 3 sets
Leg extensions 185x12 3 sets
Weighted lunges 95x10 3 sets

Going to hurt tomorrow!
 
I know your after strength gains and you will get them, keep in mind that you want to stay injury free though. With the added strength an muscle gains you put your body in a very sensitive state being that connective tissue/tendons will not strengthen as quick as you put on the muscle and strength. Key is to listen to your body and train smart and you should be fine. I'll swing by your thread time to time to check on your progress, glad I was able to assist you on some training critique. Thanks man. I was thinking about rotating rep schemes weekly, like going to a lighter more reps week, then back to heavier. I will definitely listen to my body and adjust accordingly. Do you think changing weights and rep schemes is a good idea?
 
So today is a rest day and man do I need it. Legs are wasted from yesterday's workout. Was really tired at work all day and I have zero energy. Was going to do some cardio tonight but I think an evening of good eating and rest is in order. Going to be early tonight so I can hit chest tris and shoulders hard tomorrow.

I was able to add weight to the bar from where I was last week, but that is on par with my strength gains before starting cycle. Only 2nd week on cycle, so I'm still waiting for the real strength gains to kick in.

I would say probably, although I have been eating like crazy. Probably in my head cuz I know what's coming, but I am hungry all day long. The last three days I have my macros at 40-40-20. Been taking .25 Adex eod... Do u think I should up it or just wait a bit.

Wait. Watch for symptoms of low or high E2. You could try having a bowel movement too. :-)
 
Today is a rest day. Pretty sore in the chest and shoulders. Did. 4 th pin today into right delt. No problems. Ate well past few days , hit about. 4k cals on workout days and about 3400 on rest days. Hit macro targets of 40-40-20. Man I'm ready for this to kick in.
