Depends on what you are used to. What has your cardio routine been like over the best few months? You won't want to jump right into cardio for 6-7 days a week right away, but if you have built up to it it should be alright.

It could be genetics, or it could be that you do not yet have enough muscle on your frame. Really depends on your individual body. All you can do is try and get yourself into the best shape possible and work with what you have.
