Steriod acne, gyno and hair loss?

It's fine to disagree, we're all here to share knowledge.

But go easy on Zeek. He's a big contributor and one of the most knowledgeable people here.

I don't know what your problem with zeek is but hairloss hasn't made leaps and bounds in a long time. There is no set way to stop hairloss. There are options out there and everyone reacts different. The fact is there is no one way to stop hairloss and regrowth hair. Unfortunately most hairloss meds haven't shown any consistency.

I have been reading this in the internet for the last 10 years and I slowly become paranoid, really. I plan to increase my minoxidil dosage from 5% to 6% to have better sleep.

You should take into consideration that all the unhappy guys screaming on hair loss forums may not be representative for the whole male population using anti-hair loss products. They are disproportionately recruited from the groups that don't react to these medications well. Furthermore, the combination of minoxidil with finasteride proved to be very effective in the long run.

We also have stronger versions of minoxidil on the market (up to 15%), so you can always upgrade it, when you need.

My experience may not be fully representative for the majority of users, I may simply react to medications very well, but several years ago I met a guy who had been on 2% minoxidil since early 90's. You can also find many similar pieces of experience in the internat: People have been taking minoxidil for about 10 years and it still works well. Dr. Lee, the producer of Xandrox, has been taking minoxidil for 22 years.

So I am not the only one in this world and I really think that all the unsuccessful stories must be taken witn "a grain of salt". This also concerns some scientific studies showing that after several years, hair loss reportedly continues at the same rate like before. For Goodness sake, I have comfortably kept my hair with 2% minoxidil from 1997 to 2008, and when I started to use 5% minox in summer 2008 (primarily due to financial reasons), it still worked better than 2% minox in 1997!

Thus, contrary to your beliefs, I think that for the average user, it is virtually impossible to lose hair with all the medications we now have. Naturally, the average user must be well-informed and sufficiently intelligent. Considering the level of breathtaking ignorance that I sometimes observe on internet forums, it is no wonder that the percentage of balding men in the population doesn't decrease much. Many people still have no idea that some cure has already been developed!

What is this cure? There isn't one. Ie not everyone will regrow hair or stop hairloss on minox. Options out there that are user to user dependent. Works for some, not for others. I'm speaking through personal experience because in the end I have had to settle with a hair transplant

I am almost sure that you didn't exploit all available options. You would have to be a very unlucky man, if nothing worked in you.

Im pretty sure it depend on one's body if it works or not.

It might work wonders on you but on someone else it could not work at all.

Trial and error is the only way.

Experience shows that the best method consists of combining more treatments together: finasteride, minoxidil, ketoconazole.

After reading many forums on hairloss and possible solutions it seems to me finasteride is by far the best chance for regrowth, slow or halt hairloss.Anything else most people usually end up walking awayfrom (other than transplant).
My questions

1. Is there any reason to believe fina will regrow or stop loss for a year round test user (trt)... on 180 mgs per week test my dht levels 90's off test 30's....

2. anybody year round test users have insain itching of scalp...even with keto products? thx all

As far as I know, a regimen of fin, minox, and nizoral shampoo is used among many people as a great way to stop and/or regrow hair. It's called the "big 3" for a reason.

As far as an AAS user, with heightened test levels, I'd assume they would work the same way, but maybe not as effective.

I've used all three to stop my hairloss, but since I am starting my first cycle, I am curious as to see what happens with my hair.

I currently shave my head.... I like it.... I had all the options available to me.... I personally don't like taking extra medications to fight a genetic battle that I'm sure to lose anyway. Propecia is a harsh an nasty drug with bad sides... Please research it. I'm blessed with an attractive round head... When I started shaving it people would comment that I looked much younger and healthier. Is your decision... But for my money... "Keep it simple stupid!"
