Hi everybody!
Just finished chest, shoulder, tri day today and it seems that I suck big time at benching!!!!!
This really freaks me out....my strength in my tricpes is increasing every workout but my fricken chest won't grow. It just seems I can't increase my bench, no matter what I do. Bench is first in my training routine, so it should be my best lift but well.
Just to give you an imagination here is my stats on the lifts :
Bench: 143lbs@3reps (3rd set)
Incline db press: 110 lbs @6 reps (3rd set)
Dips: bodyweight +22lbs @9reps (3rd set)
Very close grip bench press: 85lbs (3rd set)
My bodyweight is about 155lbs@5'9.
Just curious how your ratio of bench to e.x dips would be to finally figure out if I'm just weak as hell or got some kind of strength imbalance I really have to work on or how I can make my bench as well as chest size finally increase (and not just my shoulders all the time
