Subq injection

Hi everyone,

Just started testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) approx 6 weeks ago. My first 3 injections of Delatestryl were IM in the glute. 1cc (200mg/1ml) every 2 weeks. I definitely felt some up and downs and asked if I could switch to my own injections - which they happily endorse.

The nurse showed me how to inject into my abdomen. Its a subq injection of .6ml weekly. I dont mind it too much, I pull with 21g and inject with 29g, the spot where I inject is a little tender for a couple days after, but nothing major. I guess my question is: Is anyone injecting a similar amount and how did you find it?

Curious on others experience.

Feeling fantastic on the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). Started out in the around 270 and last check was 870 4 days post im injection.

I've been on it for about two months, 0.5lml E3D. First injection: delt. 2nd: quad. 3rd: abdomen. All after that: delts.

I have had zero pain at any time from delt injection. The one into my quad hurt (moderately) for three days. The one into my abdomen is still red and hurting two months later. Turns out I injected it onto fat, not muscle, not sub-Q. Now I stick with what's easiest and best for me.

Thanks BigFella. Is the technique for injecting into delts the same as abdomen? ie pinch and insert at 45 degree angle?
