sumo/conventional - when to do it?

hello.

i've been wondering about squat/deadlift variations and thought about going wide with them.

the thing is, i just don't know when to do it.

will i do it for the sake of lifting more weights or just for the sake of my comfort?

or can I just interchange it per week?

what's your experience with sumo/conven variations?

I usually train on a westside type routine and try to switch my max effort lift every 4 weeks, so I will switch grip and stance on DL, use it that way, also on speed days I varied my stance between close, regular, and sumo. I would try it, different stimulus to the muscle, see how you like it.
