sumo deads after regular deads to increase hip drive

im wondering hmmm ? if i add a couple of sets sumo style after im done with regular deads and dont over do the poundage/intensity if it will carry over into my squat AND THEN do front squats after rear squats to go SUPER DEEP on squat day ? anyone ever try this ? might be same effect as box squats huh ?
 
I have replaced standard with sumos for now, trying to build more power in the hips and hams and glutes. MY weak point on deads and squats is my ass, and hams, you can also add some pullthroughs or reverse hypers. You don't really need to do deads that often to keep your strenght, if you replaced standard with sumos for a while and concentrate on them, your standard may go up, or at least stay the same. I hadn't done deads in a month until last saturday and was able to pull 560 which was a personal best, but i want 600 by the winter, so i am working on it now with less deads, and more auxillary work.

Read this article, it talks about training the deadlift without deadlifting.

I know you are talking about it carrying over to your squat, but this will show you don't need to do deads that often if you do the right non dead exercises. I personally would think, pullthroughs, goodmornigs, and sumos will all carry over to your squat.

Try xtra wide sumo Dl's of 100lb plates if you feel you need extra ass and hamstring work-These are a killer

sumo deads for ass ? yeah man thanks ! i was actually going to post a ? on developing the ass . i have puny little cheeks and my pants just sag in my ass , i have no butt at all and ive squatted for years even with wide hips its funny . big legs , wide hips but no butt .
