Switching from Arimidex to Aromasin.

Does anybody have experience switching from arimidex to aromasin? I wonder what the equivalent dosage is between the two? For example, if I am taking 0.5mg arimidex per week currently, what would be an appropriate aromasin dosage to start with?

I am currently making the switch. I was taking .25mg twice a week of Adex. I tried 12.5mg of Aromasin twice a week of Aromasin but that seemed to leave my E2 a little too high. I am trying 6.25mg daily now. Just started that so I don't know how that will work out.

I read somewhere that 1mg Adex is equivalent to 25mg aromasin, however I am not sure how accurate that is. From the pharmacy adex comes in 1mg pills and 25mg pills for aromasin so it makes sense. Would be great if ppl who have made the switch add their experience.

Mega why not try EOD dosing with the stane? I think a lot of people overlook the fact of the half-life being ~9 hours, not taking into account that exemestane is a suicidal inhibitor by permanently binding and deactivating the aromatase enzyme, so levels of aromatase have to come back by being produced again by the body. A lot of studies have shown e2 doesn't begin to rise untill ~3 days later, I've found one study saying it was at baseline after 7? days.

I was aware of that, which is why I tried twice a week first. I could just take it with my injections. EOD would be harder for me to remember when to take it. Daily is easier to remember. I am a big fan of easy. :-)

aromasin is usually dosed too low. for males i would rec 25mg ed atleast. I rec Dex over it, 0.25-0.5mg is usually enough. that or letro at low doses I love ( i use RUI for research because liquid is easier to dose)

This sounds too high for TRT. Are you thinking for cycles?

RUI's Stane (12.5mgs Ed) and Prami (.25mgs Ed) worked great for me while running test/tren.

Everyone will be a little different. Some could run a total of 25mg a week and be fine and some might need 25mg EOD or E3D.

IMO, Aromasin>>>>>Arimidex.

I just made the switch cause I read that stane is easier on the lipids and I noticed on my last blood work my lipids getting a little outta wack. So I am trying 10mg Eod. My stane came in 20mg pills.

I've read somewhere that aromasin has less of a chance of crashing your e2 vs arimidex even if you take a slightly higher than needed dose. Why is that?

It's still possible to drive your e2 too low or even crash it with exemstane, again everyone is going to respond differently.

I'm going to speak with my doc next appointment about switching to aromasin as the 10 months I've been on trt I've had a shit of a time dialing in my E2 and have had constant gyno flare ups, so hoping this can help.

I take 6.25mg every night. I inject 80-100mg of test every 3 days. I love Aromasin!
