syringe use or re-use??

I know that I should use a new needle every time but is it necessary to use a new syringe each time? If I'm going to do a shot of sust and my friend is too, can I inject myself and the put a new needle on and the inject my friend? I have always used a different syringe for every injection so I don't know if I was just wasting them or not.
 
I really don't think it would be to sanitary to inject yourself then change the needle then inject your friend. The reason being that sometimes a little blood may go back in the syringe and that is not a smart thing to do. A needle & syringe are cheap enough where the smart thing to do would be to use a whole new combo each time, I know I do!!!!
 
change yer pins and syringe EVERY TIME! and infection or worse is deff not worth the cost of "wasting a set " bro be safe for your health fuck the few pennies!

My fault, I just glanced at your post and thought you were talking about the needle.

As far as the syringe goes, I would think that if you're aspirating (which you should be) that it would be rather unsanitary for your buddy to use the same one after you are done.

But I am no doctor or expert on that sort of thing, I think if you are looking for a 100% definitive answer, PM Buffdoc and give him the link to this thread so he can answer it as best he can.

I have always done that as well, but I didn't know if I was just being too cautious. The thing is is that I have 3 syringes left and my friend needs 5 shots over the next 10 days. He will be the only person getting the injection. I will be administering them. I didn't know if I use one syringe, inject my friend, put a new needle on and the draw more juice into the syringe and keep it for the next injection and then discard it after the next time. It would be 2 uses. I just don't know where I can get them in the next couple of days.

We had enough but 5 of the syringes turned out to be cracked so that really sucked!
 
After reading biggies story about having to take intraveneous antibiotics and seeing the pics of numerous abcesses, reusing anything thats getting stuck in my body (or even just the syringe) is not even an option. Shit i don't even like to let the pin be exposed to air for any length of time that is not absolutely necessary. I also do what stonecoldnto suggests and put a band aid on the injection site immediately after injecting. Be clean.... real clean. It's not worth getting an abcess.
 
Always use new each time bro. Infections and abcesses are not a fun time, had friends go through 'em, even using new sets every time. Just better to be safe. If your looking to "conserve", maybe you can double up on your friend's shots, depending on what they're doing.
 
Don;'t re-use bro. I did that the other week and my delt was fuckin swole for like 2 weeks.

I would rather skip a shot day....o did I just say that?:confused: :D
