I personally haven't heard of hair loss from these 2. I have experienced hair loss from being hypothyroid and I know some have while being hyperthyroid. Are you on any other medications at the moment??
No T3 usage won't get you hypothyroidism. I do know that too little iron or too much iron can cause hairloss. I personally would get some blood work and test your ferritin levels and a full thyroid panel. How is your metabolism? Any other symptoms besides the hairloss??

Those are classic signs of being hypothyroid. I was in the same boat until I got on thyroid meds. Definitely test other hormones too like estrogen, testosterone, etc. Basically do in-depth labs if you can.

Keep in mind if you are hypothyroid, I would refrain from getting on T4 only medication like Synthroid or Levothyroxine (generic) as they cause more problems than actually helping a patient. If you are diagnosed as hypothyroid, don't hop on any meds just yet. I would look in to Combo meds like Armour Thyroid or Naturethroid. Basically meds that have both T4 and T3. T3 is crucial in thyroid treatment. You can always message me if you have any questions. Good luck!!
Riprockwell's giving you good advice. And from your description (especially referencing body temp issues), you'd certainly want to have your doctor run a t3, and tsh at the least. As far as the hair loss, I'm at a loss with the clen and t3...
