T3 problem

okay,

my sis started using T3 yesterday, and she feels some liver pain (localized in that area, or it might be pancreas) , the dose is low, 6,25 mg because she plans to dose it gradually up to 25 mg a day.

my question is, is it a coincidence, or t3 is hepatoxic, or else?

i asked a friend of mine to ask about it on another board, but i think no ones got a clue there, so i write about it here.

thanks in advance

If she is taking 6.25 mg tell to stop immediately that will mess up her system. Thyroid does a lot in the system and I am a 228 pound man I only use 80mcg and start with 20mcg and pyramid up. That sounds insane.

I take T3 - I start at 25 mcg and pyramid up to 75mcg and back down to 25mcg for a cycle. I have never had any sort of pain from it.....However, the possible side effects do include:

Elderly patients with liver disease should be advised that further liver complications and decline in functioning are possible when taking Cytomel. Patients should have liver function tests performed regularly. Any flu-like symptoms, such as fatigue, general malaise, fever or yellowing of the skin, may indicate liver compromise

In addition: another warning included with the serious side effects are: if you experience any sudden sharp pains you should seek medical attention immediately.

So she should stop taking it and see a doctor.
