Taking Everyone's Advice... and stickin to a strict diet/workout plan first.

Hey All!

So I got over the juvenile BS of wanting to cut corners and jump to AAS before having a solid workout plan and strict diet. I'm willing to put in WORK for the next year and a half of hard work sans the AAS, and then re-evaluate if it comes to that.

So... here I am ready to commit.

I'm 21 years old
Height: 5' 8"
Weight: 135lbs
Waist: 29/30

I have an athletic build but not much definition. I've tentatively set a target weight of 180lbs.

I am a runner so definitely into cardio. But I understand that, that should be cut back a little for gains.

Hardest part of training for me is the diet portion. I'm just not a big eater. Definitely more of a liquids person.

Side Note: (I have set an hour and a half aside, 5 days a week to train. Whether I use the entire time each time really doesnt matter, I just made sure I would have at least an hour and a half. I am familiar with 90% of the equipment at a gym as I had a personal trainer at 24 Hour while I was in high school.)

Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated on a diet plan. I do cook as well as do my own grocery shopping so most options will work. Just need help starting.

I appreciate it!

Jeez u r skinny. Reminds me of when I first started, I was 5'9" 130.

Im definately angry with myself for not realizing that getting big is 80% diet, 20% gym. I always thought it was the other way around.

My current lifting partner has been working out for 8 months now and has put on 30lbs of solid muscle naturally. Just insane gains, and its because unlike most ppl, myself included, he knew diet was the most important thing. So right when he started training he knew how and what to eat. I wish someone had explained that to me when.I started.
