Taking Steroids At A Young Age?

I'm not looking for validation. I'm looking for people to give me detailed information. It would be great if people who used steroids young could the cycles they ran, the age they were and what side affects they got (and why they think the side affects were caused by being young). I'm trying to form an idea of what age it is safe for me to take steroids. Or would you prefer if I just start taking them at the age that you say to, without trying to understand the reasoning behind it?

I'm not really sure why you seem to be angry at me for asking questions and trying to get more information. If you're angry at me then what do you think of the people in this topic that have actually admitted to taking steroids at a young age?

my first ever stupid cycle was when i was 17. i did not know better and someone i trusted back then talked me into doing it. i did 250 mg test for 8 weeks. my second cycle was a few years after that at 500 mg/week 12 weeks. i did crash after my first cycle for a month or so but after that everything went back to normal.blood work showed high test levels and it was like i never was on cycle. even with my second cycle i was younger than the usual and still 3 months after my cycle my test level was in the 500s which means i recovered from that too. so in my own personal experience and with what makes sense, you have a higher chance of recovery when you're younger than when you're older. i recovered from both cycles perfectly even though i was young. so thats my story. if you are reading this and you're an attention whore that just wants everyone on the forum to think that you know it all and you would like to give me shit for this post, fuck off and keep your judging shitty comments to yourself

My personal experience lol...

when i was 17 i did my first "cycle", the gym teacher told me oxandrolone was great and bla bla bla lol so i like bought and took something around 30 mg/day for like 1 month well it wasnt a real cycle anyway

My first real cycle was at 18 years old, also i did it without much knowledge i just followed what the gym teacher told me it was 8 weeks 500 mg/wk of test and 6 weeks of deca 100mg/wk

second cycle was at 19 i had my test levels chcked before this cycle and they were like 400's but free test was pretty good too so i started a new cycle that was test at 500mg/wk and stan i think 100 mg EOD

I did blood test 13 months after this cycle /\ and my total test was at 500's but my free test was rly low, although it wasnt below average but i went on and did a new cycle just few months back at 20 years old it was 11 weeks of test 500mg/wk and boldenone 600mg/wk

I kept taking clomid at 50 mg/day and i did a blood test 6 months after post cycle therapy (pct) and my total test came back in the 900's...

Right now im 20 and im gonna start a new cycle next week....

I think that the main reason why u shouldnt cycle so early is because 90% of people under 20's dont have the maturity or knowledge or arent even close to their natural genetic limit... i think back and i see how retarded i was on my first 2 cycles and that is why i waited 13 months to start a new one because i realized i was being retarded and doing crap to myself... although im only 20 i think im ready for AAS..... its mostly about ur mind and shit like that... for example on my first cycle i didnt drink 1 drop of alchool for the first 5 weeks but then i started drinking every weekend and on my second cycle i would drink like 2 nights every weekend until i got wasted lol..

Im not telling u to not drink at all like 99% of users on this forum say, just drink with moderation even on cycle and it wont affect ur gains... i realized that drinking every weekend was affecting a bit then i started 1 year ago drinking 1 night every 14 days and it doesnt change anything for me..... I have a rly close friend who is 35 years old and he keeps his bodyfat at around 5% and hes also huge like 220 pounds with 19"inch arms and he drinks like 2-3 times a week and smokes weed everyday for the last 17 years.... anyway i got off the subject here lol

U asked about sides... only sides i had was some acne and some hairloss but that could happen to anyone at any age.... and i agree with cyborg45, i think its better to cycle at a young age but not too young because that way u can enjoy it a lot more than when u r older and also the recovery is faster and better....

And it is bs those people who say that its like u r on steroids when u r 20... from personal experience and talking to 2 bodybuilders who are friends of mine i believe in just a couple of years or maybe 3 years training really hard and doing everything fine u already achieve 95% of ur natural genetic limit then u gotta train another 20 years to achieve the other 5% lol..... the human body is so limited IMO

I only started cycling at 18 because i had no gains for over a year andi had been trainig for 3 years rly hard before i cycled and i dont regret cycling that early, i regret lacking knowledge when i did it... i just wish i knew the things i know today back then

Hello young man.
Your analogy about the car is way off the mark. It s delivered as a completed product which will only decline in value and performance with age.

Using aas at to young an age while your still developing both physically, emotionally and mostly, PSYCHOLOGICALLY is sheer madness.
I know this as I did em way to young and am now on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for life, and an emotional roller coaster..in other words..I m a fukkin mess.
While in your teens and early 20 s you need to take full of advantage of your natural test and push your limits without the risk of the early onset of testicular atrophy, hypertension, low test level s etc. brought on by introducing exo test into a perfectly running HPTA system.
Emotionally your not ready because most men are boy s till their in their 30 s and that s a fkn fact. Hell I m 46 and still a silly bastard at times.
The high s and low s that come with aas usage and stoppage are difficult to varying degrees with many people but they are there..and few young men can resist the urge to stay high on em vs the reality check that is...normal test.
Enjoy your youth, embrace it..look in the mirror and realize I m blessed with what i got and let s see how far I can push this with food rest training and god s good graces.
Fuck with em to young and you ll be fucked like the author of the post.
I ll not give you my breakdown of safest roids till you come off some data..and back it up with an pic avi...period. Tired of people saying they are this and they are that...it s for your own good.

I completely agree with Teutonic. We have a long discussion about this same issue every few months. Here is my story that might help you. I am an older dude like Teutonic:

I did practice what I am preaching, as I did not start AAS till 36 years of age, after my last kid, and well after I peaked in the gym (18 years of consistent working out). AAS then reinvigorated my life in the gym, and even outside the gym, in many ways. Bench went up 35% over past 9 years, as did all other lifts. Lost almost all body fat, and gained 20 lbs of muscle over this time, which I still have thanks to testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) (HRT). SO, while there are no hard fast rules to any of this, my recommendation is to wait till you have peaked in the gym, and have had your kids, which is generally in your 30s. It does worry me the number of young guys starting with AAS way too early. Read up on treads discussing testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for life because of extended AAS use. It will happen to most of us.

SO, guidelines are:
1) I would NOT recommend getting started down the dark path of AAS till you have had 5-10 hard years in the gym optimizing your body. This ensures strong tendons, bones, and base of muscle strength, as well as knowledge about really lifting effectively. More importantly, you want to let your body build naturally through your 20s when test is already pretty high. Having a more natural based of strength in the muscles, bones and tendons will also protect you from injury when the large jumps in strength occur with AAS.

2) Another consideration is having kids. You do take a risk of infertility on extended AAS usage.

3) 30 years old seems to be about right, maybe even a little older (but could be a little younger, depending on when you have your kids)

4) Waiting longer makes one mentally more secure and able to deal with the emotional aspects of AAS usage. Not worth getting into it, but there are emotional, anxiety issues that can crop up with AAS use and the game.

5) Why peak so early, as there is nothing to look forward to later in life. You will get bored of all this and the grind of the AAS game and being in the gym, give it time so working out is entrenched in your very soul, and AAS applied later in life will reinvigorate you in the gym and give you another 10 hard years.

6) Although minor, AAS use at high dosages for long periods of time probably does have some risk for cardiovascular disease and a few other things, so the longer you wait, the better the risk management with aging.

7) AAS use, especially in young people (18-25), will affect your personality. Not directly, but it will impact your self image and the way people respond to you. The older you are when all this happens, the more you can control and remain yourself. In business, when I walk into a room, other dudes (not women) naturally look to me for leadership, only because of my size and appearance. This can change your personality and self image.

8) It will affect your sexual performance. Trust me when I tell you that everything you have read about it being a sexual super charger is temporally limited. Mostly happens first few cycles. Thereafter it has the opposite effect on most of us. It effs up your sexual function, and most guys need viagra, etc. This is a sure thing with extended use, trust me.

9) You will likely need to be on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) (HRT) the rest of your life when you stop. Not that there is anything wrong with this situation, but it is something to consider and can be a hassle. Wait till you are older.

10) It is psychologically addicting, so once you start, you will not want to stop.

11) Some of us get gyno or permanently puffy nips (never happened to me). Better to put this off as long as possible

12) you have more money later in life to really afford a proper cycle

I started young and I am currently on TRT. Everyone is going to react to it differently. You know the saying, "In order to be old and wise, you first have to be young and dumb." It is very subjective to say, "Hey this 21 year old I know has been cycling 5 years and he is fine." How do you know he is fine. Stating that an 18 year old gets regular blood work is pretty much bullshit. When I was 18, I was invincible and that is the last thing I wanted to get was blood work. Then you hear a comment like, "Arnold is fine." Again, how do you know that Arnold is fine?? I guess Arnold didn't have fucking heart surgery after all. Yes Arnold is still kicking but he has top notch doctors and millions of dollars too.

Remember folks, there is a very fine line between feeling bad and dying. A lot of guys on gear have higher than normal blood pressure. Do they check their blood pressure regularly and get on meds if needed?? Most of the guys don't. Do you realize the toll that alone will take on your kidneys, heart, etc.?? Also, these kids claiming they are alright or have their test levels back to normal doesn't mean shit to me. Most of the guys I know, run their post cycle therapy (pct) and then blood test immediately after. Now, if they waited a year and tested their testosterone, I guarantee you it would be lower than right after running their SERM and HCG. I had a friend who cycled and got blood work and the blood work came back pretty good after all his cycles. Now here he is in his 30's and he can't get his wife pregnant because his sperm count is too low so he is working on fixing that if he can fix it. So yes, the side effects of gear don't always pop out while your using. It is the long term that you don't see. There are risks in this game, so the longer you can go natty, the better. Gear is the icing on the cake. Without the cake (training, diet), you have no need for icing.
