The Reason Waldos' Hiding
The local YMCA I workout at decided to close down for a week for renovations, unfortunate for me, I'm on a cycle at the moment and have nowhere else to go lift and I have no weight equipment at my house. Is it okay to take about a week off while on cycle? Not that I have much of a choice at the moment.. :/

yep, what he said.

you can do some simple, explosive bodyweight workouts that rock your muscles just fine.

do the basics... push-ups, pull-ups if you have a place to do them. a stairwell or of course jungle gym at a park or something can be used. you can also do inverse rows and such at a place like that to get in a solid back workout.

up and down movements like 8-counts or something, and then something to hit the legs like jump squats, jump lunges, etc. put on a backpack with some books in it if you have that stuff.

some plank work thrown in, like in between supersets is a great place, if you feel like it

etc.

I find I get stronger and feel better when I take a week off on or off cycle. The body just needs time to catch up and a week here and there do the trick for me. Heck maybe I'm just getting old lol

i rly dont ur body needs anymore then 2 days to rest unless ur a beginner or sumthin. if you dont have a choice i think a jungle gym is ur best bet but dont just sit on ur ass thats for sure

Take the week off. If your body needs it, rest up. I know when I was on I had to stop training quads for almost a month cause my knees were killing me. When I started training them again, I was actually stronger.

If not, do explosive bodyweight work as someone else already said. Plyos, push-ups, pull-ups, wall-sits, etc. Also, I doubt most guys do these here cause it's mostly bodybuilders, but maybe do some sprints + agility work.

Bro, also utilize your resources.... as the mentioned above are good alternatives... Go surfing, rowing, biking etc weighted swimming w chains/weightbelt... Its easy to rig up a pullup bar/out produces pulldowns handsdown IMO!

Anybody whos every paddled out a couple hundred yards, time after time knows what kind of sick strengh/conditioning it produces. My buddy sprints dumbells/centerblocks/sandbags up his 5 story apartment outside stairwell. A weeks break is no problem.
