I have one and it read my BF% at 16%.
I went to a trainer he measured my BF with calipers in 4 places he came up with 12%.
Which is more accurate ?
I am pretty tall, does that throw off the measurements ?
ditto, depending on hydration levels, time of day, etc those Tanita scales can be considerably off!
you best bet to get the closest approximate is to have your bodyfat tested with calipers by an experienced person...

I'd go with the calipers as well. Once again, be sure that the person that is doing your fat test is experienced. Also, try to have the person use a five or six skinfold measurement test as opposed to only three. It's far more accurate.
