Tendon and ligament health and strength. . .

Ok iv talked to a lot of guys who have torn a tendon or muscle from gettin too strong too fast. Im currently usin test all the way through (of course), but dbol first 4 weeks, and fina last 6 which are both supposed to be great for strength. I dont want to risk gettin hurt by gettin too strong too quick. What precautions can i take without hindering my training (dont wanna be doing 12-15 reps)? Would a shot of deca in my 6th 8th and 10th weeks help?
