Test C Melting Point Test

Hello everyone, i got some test c powder about a month ago.I brewed it up and started my cycle. Is been 4 weeks and no results. No sense of well being no wanting to bang the wife nothing. So i took about 1/2 gram or so put it in a beaker and did a melting point test. I started with a water bath slowly raising the temp and monitoring the temp with a thermometer in the water and an infared thermometer pointed directly at the powder.It would not desolve in the water bath 220 deg f. So i put it on the eye of the stove and slowly raised the heat. It finally started to desolve at 243 deg f and was fully desolved at 260 deg f.Does this mean my powder is bunk? Thanks

I just got an email from my source that said they no longer carry powders do to the fact that the powder source was unreliable.I guess that answers my ? thanks

The melting test is pretty inreliable in a conventional oven.
