Test/Deca cycle for an old, little guy

BF: no idea
Diet: 3200 cals with 40/40/20 split (checked by 3J)
Training plan: Westside for Skinny Bastards

I know popular opinion says I am too small for a cycle, and I although I respect people's opinions I also know my body well from many years of working out. I have been active in martial arts for 30 years and have been lifting for a number of years. I was 130lbs well into my 30's and have always had a very hard time adding muscle mass. Since I am already on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) I decided to try a blast to see if I can put on size size some time before I die of old age.

My cycle is 600mg test/300mg deca split into 2 pins per week. I plan on running it for 12 weeks.
Letro at .25mg for my Aromatase inhibitor (AI), because I react badly to aromasin.
Prami at .30mg per day for prolactin control

I'm just beginning my fourth week and so far feel great. I am up to 158 and have been able to add weight to every lift each week.

My work-out for today was:

Bench 4X8, increasing to max weight and 3X3 at max weight
Bent row 4X10
Decline DB Bench 3X12
Face Pulls 2X15
Weighted Roman chair 4X25

Good progress so far, I say once you reach a certain age go for it, if you were 22 it would be a different story, keep the updates coming.
 
Thanks! I feel the same way, if I were younger I would try and max it out naturally more.

Pinned quads this morning. Using 1cc slin pins so did one in each quad. A little sore, but all went well with the pinning.

Feeling a bit more fatigued than I have been, not sure if it's the cycle or the head cold I seem to have caught. Glad today was an off day, not sure if I would have been up to leg day.

Libido is very good. It was flagging a bit last week until I added in the letro and prami. Not sure if it's the deca or the prami but I can pound away forever without cumming now. It's kind of fun, but a pain in the ass at the same time. My wife is liking it, although she has been walking a little funny.

Breakfast: Oatmeal with 3 egg whites

2nd meal: grilled chicken breast with sweet potato

Snack: Up Your Mass shake

3rd meal: grilled chicken breast with yam and salad

snack: pbj sandwich

Dinner: Lime chicken and brocolli

I will have another Up Your Mass shake this evening.

Bummed I fell a bit short on calories today. I will have to try harder to eat more tomorrow.

DAY 25:

Mood is super great today. Libido is decent, but now a bit off. I hope I didn't overdo it on the Letro. I will be trynig aromasin again (starting with 6mg a day), but from a different supplier (RUI). I noticed a huge difference in the prami from RUI versus the other stuff I had, so maybe my bad experience with the aromasin was becasue the stuff I had before was crap.

Did lower body this morning, I wish my schedule would allow me a time other than 5am for workouts; it's hard to be motivated that early.

Box squats 5X8 (adding weight with each set to reach max working weight) 3X5 at max working weight

Romanian deadlifts 3X10

DB Reverse Lunges 4X12

Roman chair (weighted) 4X25

Hope to really stuff my face today and hit my cal target!
 
Do you take any pre workout supps? I wasn't really sold on them at first but I work construction and after a 10 hour day of banging nails I really needed a boost to get in the gym, I am taking jacked right know will probably experiment with a couple different ones but I have to say pumps are awesome and. You definitely feel awake and ready to lift,,just a thought, their are alot of different ones out their
 
Funny you mention Jacked, that's the same one I use. It definitely helps.

I usually make a pre-wo shake with jacked, whey, creatine, arginine and taurine.
 
Day 28

Mood and energy are still good despite this head cold that will not go away.

Libido is good - wife is very happy!

Strength continues to go up slowly with every workout. Even on lifts where I have not been able to add weight I am adding reps.

Diet is still me biggest problem. I'm not a big eater and it takes a ton of discipline to keep eating. Plus my schedule is absolutely killer. Not to make excuses but I work full time (with a two hour commute each way), go to school online and have a 5 year old and a 1 1/2 year old. Making time for workouts is tough, but keeping my shit together to eat is even harder.

Weight is holding at 158 but with noticeable increases in size. Bloat is pretty much nill with the aromasin. RUI rocks, I'm not having the problems I had with the previous aromasin I used. Keeping dose low at around 6mg ED.

Pinned lats yesterday, all went fine.

Upper body repetition yesterday as follows:

Bench press: 3X9 working up to max working weight then sets of 10, 8, 5

Skull crushers: 3X10

Chin-ups: 4X8

Bradford presses: 3X10

BB curl 3X8

Roman chair: 4X20

Not sure if anyone is even following, but thought I'd post in case it helps anyone!
 
Keep posting bro I am interested in your final pic and stats. I here you with the kids and stuff, I cook my meals on Sunday, fire up the grill and drop a shit load of chicken breast on, make a huge Tupperware of rice, its easy to eat cold and easier when already made, I usually get frozen broccoli and make 3 days worth at a time and I never go anywhere without my jug of water and peanuts on hand, hope that helps.
 
Thanks, man. I hope this is all worth it and I wound up with at least some decent size I can keep.

I do the same, today I'll grill up a whole shitload of chicken and sweet potatoes, so I'm set for the week.
 
Day 34

Still having trouble making sure my cals are high enough. Hitting my target most of the time though.

Strength seems to be going up, but slowly. So far nothing spectacular but I have been able to add weight or reps to every lift. Biggest change is my squats, still having trouble with bench but have adding weights/reps with every workout except yesterday.

Still sticking with westside for skinny bastards and it definitely seems to be working. My body is changing a lot and I am definitely adding size.

Weight is still hovering around 156-158 despite the fact I am definitely looking bigger and am lifting more. My pants are fitting looser around the middle, but tighter in the legs.

Gyno disappeared again so I dropped the letro but am staying with the aromasin at 6mg ed. Tried a few days at 12.5mg but was definitely too much (sore joints, lethargy, etc). Adding the aromasin in definitely dropped some water weight. Also keeping my prami at .30mg just to be careful and cause I like it. :laugh3:
 
Still trucking on, but I think my test is bunk. I switched to some pharma grade I had squirelled away last week and the difference has been pretty great. Loads of morning wood, libido, leaning out a bit, etc. Not sure if it was the switching, the fact I dropped the Aromasin (felt like it was crashing me), or just the fact I am in week 6 and really hitting stride. Ugh. Not sure if I should switch back to the original and see if I feel the same or just ditch it and burn through my pharma stash. Any opinions would be welcome.

Diet is definitely on point this week, I signed up with 3J and have been closely following the diet he sent me. It seems to be working great!

My progress was slowing with WSFSB so I decided to change things up for a few weeks and then I will probably drop back into WSFSB.

Workout Monday was:
DB bench 3X12 (decreasing weight each time)
Incline BD bench 3X12 (decreasing weight)
Decline bench 3X12 (decreasing weight)
Flys 3X12
Tri pushdowns 2X12

Today's workout:
Box squats 3X8 (heavy)
Leg ext 3X10
Leg curl 3X10
Calf raise 3X12
Military press 3X10 (decreasing weight)
Lat DB raise 3X8
rear delt DB fly 3X8
High pulls 3X8

im lookin to switch pharms Sustanon (sust) and deca is my thing does anybody know the quality of geneza pharm if anybody used it b4 please let me kno thx
 
Week 10 and still going. I have enough deca to finish out this week, but a mishap will stop me from going any further. I plan on continuing the test for a few more weeks before dropping down to my maintenance dosing for trt.

Starting last week or two I did notice my endurance when lifting really seemed to go all to shit. I struggle to make it through a work-out and stall on reps I was able to push through before. It's very discouraging. Has anyone else had this happen to them late in a cycle?

Nah, nothing rude. The right is the puffier of the two actually. It is unfortunately just the way I'm built. Only really happens when it's very hot (it was well into the 90's when I took that pic).

Lost my last vial of deca to a stupid accident so I'll be running just test for the next 3 weeks and will end my cycle there.

Developed a bit of bacne after stopping the dec, I guess because of the change in hormone levels. I didn't think it would happen so fast, but that's all that I have changed so it seems the likely culprit.

Here are some pics (cruddy ones, as usual) to show progress so far.

After cycle update. Too lazy to take pics, the last ones I took are pretty close to now so I'll leave them for now.

Wound up doing 11 weeks of test/deca because I'm a bone head and smashed my last vial. After the 11th week I just dropped the test down to my testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dose.

Into week 4 post cycle and so far I have kept my strength gains an 12 of the 14 lbs I gained.

Props to 3J for a great lean bulk diet. My waist is actually a bit smaller than when I started but I have definitely thickened up everywhere else.

Cruising for a while and deciding what to try for my next run.

Good progress dude. If anything I would focus more on your chest and arms, but that will come with time. Your back muscles look impressing and abs are starting to show. Keep up the good work!!
