Why is it "horrible horrible advice"?? Am I wrong??? No! He will see results but like I said thery won't be anywhere near what he could gain on a longer cycle.
Why is it bad to run a short cycle anyways?? I know I could put 15 to 20 pounds on in that time. all I'm saying is if he's like I am and would dedicate those 5 or 6 weeks to nothing but eating sleeping and lifting then why not??!! And yea enanthate doesn't "kick" in til week four or five but I know that I can feel it 5 or 6 days after first pin. So before u tell him I'm giving him horrible advice think about the positives. Its not gonna hurt him any bit if he runs a post cycle therapy (pct) the right way. Just my thoughts OP.
the fact remains, however, that 5 weeks from now he'll be a couple of weeks away from going to boot camp. that means that his post cycle therapy (pct) should start basically when he goes to boot camp. that means he won't be able to do any post cycle therapy (pct)... his test will have to recover naturally.
he'll lose any gains he might have had right there. moving right along.... he'll be stuck in navy bootcamp... the first 3 weeks he won't even be ALLOWED to PT.
1. No post cycle therapy (pct)
2. Too short a cycle for any significant gains ANYWAY
3. No natty test
4. No freedom to train intense
5. Shitty food
That's hardly a winning combination. Not only will he lose any potential gains.... he will probably start losing what he already has now, and feel like ass during a time when feeling like ass would suck even worse than usual.
Those are just a few of the reasons why he may have said your advice was horrible horrible.
Navy Newbie:
You've already figured out waiting is your best bet so stick to that plan. Regarding what else to run with those two... you probably don't even need both of them your first go around. A 3 month + cycle of Test-e only would put on mass fine for your first time I think. But definitely no need to add a 3rd one. Gear is like training, more doesn't always = better.
If you don't have enough mass to handle training like a freak, then doing so will only result in over training and set you back.
Similarly, if you don't have enough mass, pumping yourself full of juice will only increase your susceptibility to unpleasant sides because it can't all be used. the wasted bit only affects you negatively (waste of money, more sides and more pronounced sides, etc.)
Keep it simple and work slowly. Gear is a tool, but a much smaller part of the equation than most of us newbies (i'm a newbie too) want to believe...
And yes, I'd recommend waiting as well I don't think you need to get started so young. At least get blood checked and everything first to see where you're at with your natty test and what not.
Granted I went through Navy Boot over 10 years ago, but if there's anything you want to ask me about or anything you can hit me up here or shoot me an e-mail... ezred (at) safe-mail (dot) net. It's all a game and understanding that will make it a lost more fun(?) to play. I have a few pretty good memories from rdc actually, and made some friendships that are still with me.
What rate are you headed for?
