I had degenerated disc disease, and I am wondering if test E Etc will possibly help with my lower back pain that I experience. I'm looking to strengthen my back, and thought this might be a good way.

I figured it should be something better than prednisone Which is a short term fix on my back Goes out

No it wont.

Testosterone will do NOTHING for your disease. Maintain standard back precautions and exercises conducive to strengthening your back without causing additional pain or discomfort.

Test above 300mg start to actually hinder collagen synthesis, so in your case it would be counter productive. I have degenerative disk disease, and 2 herniated disks in my back. I pretty much run EQ non stop now. It helps tremendously.

For example When im not blasting.

300mg/Test E wk
600-700mg EQ/wk

As far as increasing Collagen synthesis, EQ is better than all versions of nandrolone. Plus I dont need to worry about prolactin based issues.

Ok thanks. I can get about a month or so of great work outs in and then my back goes out, I'm down for A week or so and then when I go back to the gym my strength has diminished and its like starting all over so wondered if this might be a better avenue to keep strength, limit injuries, and actually build a stronger core and muscle mass without the set backs that I keep having.

Just thoughts I have without any real plan in place besides looking for options to eliminate the set backs I have.

Also thanks for not flaming me I'm just looking for options to enjoy a healthy lifestyle and not be hampered by my disc issue

Fire,

Like OSL i have had two herniated discs. Ive undergone two microdiscectomys (surgery) that were successful. I have not read any clinical data that suggests testosterone will heal or promote healing this surgical disease. However, supraphysical amounts of testosterone will certainly make you feel better overall and increase your overall strength provided you are doing some form of resistance training and eating properly. But you still must be careful not to over extend yourself. And cortisone shots will only mask the problem.

Also, if you're workouts are causing you to have flare ups every month, i would seriously consider revising my exercise routine and scale back on the amount of weight you are moving around. Imho that is too frequent and likely will cause you more pain and suffering in the short term, or worse - something permanent.

*Back exercises that strengthen and stretch the back are what assists in healing most back issues.

Good luck.

If you keep hurting your back you need to find what exercise are causing it and don't do them. You need to find a stretching and core strengthening program and do it every day if your body will let you. As far as test It helped me recover from a bulging disc and allowed me to build up my lower back to take the pressure off the disc. No squats or deadlift for you my friend!!
