Got results from my blood work back but the measurement is in nmol/l

my results were 11.8 nmol/l

so my question is what the **** does that mean?

anyone know a link where they have normal ranges for test in nmol/l.... oh yea im 26 by the way. :bigok:

spose it depends where you live, im in the uk, just said I wanted them done because of lack of libido, depression etc etc. they shouldnt have a problem with it....... the test results I posted earlier are from when I was 21 so not looking good read up that to be recognised as being in andropause your levels have to be below 12 nmol/l .. mine were 11.8 at 21 so have to wait to see the results of my latest test now im 26. needless to say im a little pissed about it! would be greatfull to hear what experiences others have had with andropause.

11.8 is fairly low bro. The problem is the "normal range" as far as they're concerned is
10-25. I've been down that low and lower before and it is no fun at all. You can barely function as a man.

What has the doc suggested to do about it?

what do you have to say to the doc to get these tests done?

You can do it independently of your doctor with a saliva test. It takes a few days of monitoring and you have to be precise, but it will give you your test levels at each part of the day (morning, noon and night). I'm sure a google search would reveal how to get this done.

I use the libido and lack of energy reason and have no problem getting the tests done. Often end up with a few sample packs of Cialis or Viagra as well ... LOL

Exactly. I went down this road as well. At 26 years old I had the test levels of a 60-year old man. I treated my neurotransmitters, changed my diet and at that time Andro was legal so the combo of the three shot my levels to the high end of the accepted range.

But if you use the key words like Sparx said, and maybe include cold all the time, can't sleep, gaining weight when I shouldn't because I work out, then you should be able to get the tests done.
