Test prop shot complication

Hey guys, joined in just now because I think something went wrong with my first shot of test prop.
My friend jabbed me in leg on Sunday (he is experienced user, knows his shit, his previous advice was always spot on), and I went gym, next morning I woke up with huge pain, which should be cool coz fast esters should hurt. The more time went past the worst pain got, so I bought hot water bottle, warmed the injection site up, massaged it, went on a jolly bike ride (through pain) and I woke up with less pain, but more swelling and some redness which wasn't there before. It feels like there is a fluid build up and I am scared of infection, tmrw will be calling ambulance, maybe.

So here is a question, has any1 else experienced similar stuff and am I just over reacting?

Stats:
Age: 22
Height: 186.5
BF: 13%
Arms:16'5 inch
Chest: 42 inch
Legs : due to swelling one leg is an inch bigger than the other.

I had 2 previous cycles of superdrol and M1T

its probably just virgin muscles. it will go away after you inject into the same muscle over time. pictures would be helpful

I haven't physically seen it but I'm gonna say it's most likely not an infection. Any time you hit a virgin muscle with gear it's gonna hurt like a bitch because it's never had anything like that before. As your muscle was still freaking out you aggravated it with the bike ride which caused the swelling.

Very first shot I ever had 2mls deca/sust into the quad couldn't walk for a week. By week 3 took them like nothing

Prop is bad; virgin muscle pinning is bad. You did both together which equals somethjng I like to call "the hurt box." Totally normal in my opinion.

These are not previous cycles. My first pin was test e in the glute and I couldn't do abs for about a week or sleep on my back bc the pip. It will get easier. May have to tough it out about 3 weeks though

Many different variables here but almost all of us have gone through this to one degree or another! Test prop can be a painfull ester to shoot as well as sust! Apply warm compress take ibuprofen and keep an eye on it! If it becomes further inflamed warm to the touch and spreads you might need to consult a doctor! Quads hurt for me every injection I only hit them right after leg day, that way I have 5 days to recoup!

Don't rub an injection site. I know I say this every time, but it still pops up. You're bringing blood to a site of trauma, which causes more inflammation, which makes it worse as nerves detect that.

Give it a week, if you don't see the swelling go down, it might be time to see a doc in the ER for a nasty B-12 shot. ;) Oh, it also looks like your buddy pinned you a hair low on the vastus lateralis. You want to go one hand width down from your hip, and one up from your knee. That's the golden area that will keep you from hitting nerves (stay on the outside edge, NOT the top) and blood vessels.

Be safe.

My .02c :)

thanks man, the jab however is in between those 2 red patches on my leg and its not visible from the picture. 2 red patches are the 2 swollen points. Have no idea how it got that far from injection site lol

Just blood doing its thing. I figured it was closer to your knee based on the swelling, but that's about (as long as it wasn't the center) the right spot. Hope it goes down for you. If it makes you feel better, I've probably pinned over 600 times and still don't handle prop very well. ;)

this is what happens when you stick metal objects in your muscles. Did you think there would be no pain with this? Just man up ad ride the storm out and it will pass. It took my muscles a while to not get much pip. I still get pip and inflammation in my muscles from prop. Im sitting on a heat pack now! lol

Thats true, but you know, first time jabbing, I would rather ask people that know than keep on guessing myself. Better be safe than sorry

Quick update: an hour before gym, pinned 0.75ml in bum with warmed up syringe and held hot water bottle at my cheek for about 10 minutes until it went bright red. I will see if lowering dosage and heating the shit up will help with pain, in case any1 interested, so will update tmrw when I will wake up.

I will disagree with most of the advice on this post. Halfwit is never wrong, ever....seriously...ever...but I believe somewhat differently than most.

If the site is inflamed and painful, regardless of whether the gear was dirty or your injection practice was acceptable, you can abscess. It can be a sterile abscess, but still it isn't fun and may require attention.

You must acknowledge the fact that if you go to the emergency room, they will most likely incise and drain your leg. It is going to fucking happen even if it isn't necessary. The doctor will assume that you have done something illicit (most likely roids) and will want to show you that there are consequences to your vanity and criminal ways by permanently ruining the appearance of your quad in the process of clearing the abscess. Do not let this stop you from going. If gangrene sets in, you will lose the quad....and the ham...and the calf....and the soleus...and the foot. If your fever exceeds 102, it is time to go. You have lost the battle. It is time for antibiotics and a drain.

Now if you have decided that you want to give it a go and try to square yourself, here is what you should do. Hot ass bath. Heat decreases the viscosity of the pus and will make it easier to move. After the soak, massage the hell out of it--and I will tell you why--you want to introduce the infection to the system. Halfwit is right about introducing the bad to the good, but you want your body's immune response to fight the pathogen, not store it and wait for a scalpel to show up. That will not happen unless you break into the loculated abscess by rigorous massage. Next, get knee wraps and wrap it as tight as possible over the abscess without restricting limb circulation. Walk every few minutes. Stretch vigorously. When you go to bed, wrap tightly, but not enough to lose your leg the old fashioned way. If this doesn't work after a day or so, and you can still feel the abscess, 22g needle and 5ml syringe...stab until you get it. If you cant, take the ride.

Good luck man.

is there is a sign of infection like fever or white stuff in the leg (like a huge pimple)?

Soreness to the point of your leg giving when you walk on it. Elevated fever locally on the leg and systemic temp (check it orally-or anally...but not both...........just kidding, lol). Splotchy skin.

Be on watch for that fever. It is the difference maker. You wont get a surface pimple, but you may get dying surface skin--if you get that, go to the hospital, you are too late. The pus will be as deep as the injection, but may have moved along a dermatome (obviously depending on the depth). It likely wont travel upstream of the inject. That may be why you are swollen so close to the knee...because surely nobody would inject there....jk. We were all rookies once...
