Test prop

My wife has started test prop 25mg a week.Does anyone know how birth control would be effected? We have done a great deal of research on the sides from the test but theres not much on birth control. We have read that the test could cancel out the bc and we will take precautions,but were more worried about health problems. She is on Mirena IUD 5 year birth control and has had no problems with it.

Id stop right away never give a woman testosterone of any kind it will mess her up just my opinion low dose or not.

You have no idea what you are saying..

Women have natural test hormones in their bodies to start with and many many women have had incredible results with low dose test prop. Post menapausal women are prescribed testosterone to rebalance their hormones..

Dirtman.. as per your wife.. I know alot of women that have cycled various aas while on bc with no problems however everyone is different.. High doses could definitely interfere with the bc.. it could interfere in various ways but will definitely affect the hormone levels, however it will not cancel it out.
At 25mgs a week of prop, which is a very low dose, she should be fine however tell her to keep a journal to monitor her hormones; mood swings, cravings, libido and possible menstrual changes ie breakthrough bleeding etc..

If you want a definite answer, she should be honest and consult her obgyn...
