Test results

I had typical signs for low T that's why I did my blood work. I have been feeling like crap for the last 3-4 years and I'm just 24 years old. I'm going soon to the endo doctor, I hope I will convince him for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) or at least hcg treatment despite my young age. However I would like to know your opinions about my blood results before my appointment, so I will go prepared better for conversation with the doctor.

Thank you

Have you taken gear in the past? If so when? Some dr. wont precribe testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) unless your 25. But if you find a Dr that does take patients under 25 then theyll probably start you on the gel for 90 days and go from there.

Mopar: why would you recommend thyroid meds? Serious question as my levels are worse than his, so I'm interested lol.

Someone who understands the thyroid better should answer that like Rip. I do know a TSH of over 2.0 is high (low thyroid fuction), his is 3.9. I'd like to see someone with more technical knowledge on the subject look at the TSh, t4 and t3 and make a comment.

His thyroid may not be that bad. High TSH but normal or slightly low thyroid levels is typically classified as "subclinical hypothyroidism". Since the T3 number appears to be okay, meds may throw him from normal thyroid to hyper. Going by TSH to measure thyroid would be like using LH to determine if someone has high or low testosterone.

Ya the t3 number is weird for that high of a TSH, it looks
like it's working thou. Which is why I said I'd like someone like rip to comment (he really understands the tyroid).

Yes I did but it was 7-8 years ago and it was perhaps 30-40 tablets of dianabol. I know... I was young and stupid.

Which would explain a great deal about why I'm having issues losing weight and keeping my energy up despite a good diet and weight training.

My urologist wanted to make sure my lutenizing hormone was normal, a low number can mean your pituitary gland isn't working as it sends out the lutenizing hormone to tell your body to make test. If it is low its normaly a tumor which is quite common and they give medicine to make the tumor shrink. Google it for info.

Mine was normal, so for me, I just don't make test, even though my pituitary is asking for it via the lutinizing hormone. My nuts are broke.

Your lutenizing hormone looks very low. Id check your pituitary and see why its not sending out the lutenizing hormone.

I'm no doc, but my uroligist said he sees this a lot with low t patients.

Many docs put patients on test without making sure thats what they need. My general doc was going to do this (test is low... Ohh you need testosterone) , I wanted a second opinion and that's when I went to the urologist who actually made sure everything else was working before going hrt. It's possibly your nuts just can't produce it. But you may get lucky and find out the problem can be fixed without life long injections.
