TRT as a male contraceptive...?

Quick scenario:
You love your wife
She's been on BC for over 5 years
You read about the decreasing chances to bear a child after continued BC usage
She holds a lot of water and gained fat due to the BC
You love her and want to give her a break
You decide on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) in order to decrease your sperm count.
Maybe you plan on a year and then her going back on the BC for a year and trading the role every year until it's time to try for a child.

(of course, there would be heavy cycles tossed into this 'trt period')

Questions:
Does this seem like a really stupid idea?
If not, I presume the use of HCG would be unwanted, right?

It wont be very reliable.
Just ask Needsize
Hes had like 3 kids on over a gram of test a week.

Maybe, i dont recall. Still, i wouldnt count on it as being reliable.

from malecontraceptives.org

"The fastest possible onset of efficacy that a man taking an MHC could hope for would be 1½ - 2½ months. Once spermatogenesis is halted, it takes an average of 2½ months for the last spermatids produced to travel through and exit the epididymis."

"Researchers have a major problem to solve before they can bring male hormonal contraceptives to market: some men simply do not respond to hormonal contraceptive regimens. Non-response rates range from 5 to 20%, depending on the formulation and delivery method."

It appears Needsize is in that 5-20%. I could be too, wouldn't know unless tested. And can't get tested with an accurate answer until around 5 months into a TRT.

Would have to wear those stupid rubbers regardless, JIC.

Heavy doses of Gear + Girl who takes BC religiously = winning scenario

with that being said, I have met many guys who have been careless when on gear, some were single, one dating, one engaged, and two married... now they all have kids

I won't know about their HCG usage, but I know all were relatively competent users with at least a few cycles under their belts...

I do believe I read somewhere that Prop is much more effective at making sure you have less viable sperm, something to be looking into...
