Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) q

So I am 43, healthy, was a BBuilder and did 5 modest cycles in my 20's. Now it seems especially the last two years that my sex drive is dropping (and I have laid off the porn!). I exercise, eat good and all that. I know it has to be hormonal and maybe somewhat normal to aging. I don't want to accept it. So I have been watching these testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) threads and am thinking of just going to the DR (I live in the mecca of TRT). The other idea is to just do one really good Test and Prov cycle every year (like 500 mg Test and the prov for 3 months...). At least we will be banging away hard for 1/4 of the year. So, feedback is what I am interested in. Also, what does doing this stuff legit through a DR cost? I'm just mulling over different options at the moment. Thank you.

IDK about trt,but hack how is that cycle you are running coming along? You send you were thinking of maybe taking one more run at competing...so how is it going?

get some bloodwork, see how it looks. I'd opt for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) over one cycle, you could still "cycle" while on TRT. I haven't gone through a doc yet, simply because I can homebrew for so much less money, and my insurance probably wouldn't cover much.

Sorry for being gone for a while. I had a serious issue come up. I was gearing up in my training big time and feeling really confident, but started getting exercise induced migraines that were totally debilitating. This had absolutely nothing to do with gear (I have been off forever). I got pretty worried about it (started to go blind in my right eye on and off) and even wondered if I had a brain tumor! F-ck doing gear if that is going on in your head! So I sort of disappeared from the forum here. Also I travel during the summer for one of my jobs...

Anyways I got totally checked out and there is nothing wrong w me, nor the brain. I got an MRI and no brain defect (except I'm too smart for some reason they say :)) What a sigh of relief. I think the migraine's were induced by stress, working too much plus trashing my body too hard. I backed off and they are getting better now.

So, now I'm putting my head back into training. But again, I'm not sure if testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is for me, or just get going on a cycle again (which always works).

Lastly, if I can training without further migraines bombarding me, yes likely I'll start thinking of competing.

That is sort of what I was thinking, but with powders there is always the risk there are impurities there and for the long haul clean gear is always a plus. I will check into testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) this year. Actually funny enough my great friends wife works at a longevity/hormone replacement therapy clinic! Wish it was like to good old days where they did not watch the gear closely! LOL.

Again any feedback is welcomed.

Agree

If you want your sex life (and other things) back, go to a doc and get some bloodwork done. If you have decent insurance, it should be worth it.

If you want to add in a cycle after, go for it

I'm not sure how much gear you are talking about doing, but the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) clinic I go through doesn't seem strict. I'm prescribed a 10ml bottle of cyp for 10 weeks, but I order 3 bottles at a time. I can also get Anavar (var) if I have the money. Probably HGH too, but that shit's too expensive for me.

What??? LOL! Aside from the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), I'd like to do 500mg a week for about 3 months. Out of your clinic would that even be feasible?

Its fairly easy to get 200 mg a week, which is probably close enough to keep you on TRT.

I would think the reason someone would start testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is because things are sucking, such as no libido and migranes.

I started because my beard stopped growing, my blood pressure was high, and sliding into diabetes. I also had absolutely no libido and a low grade depression. I was also getting injured all the time.

Getting a doctor involved is always going to be better in the long run. Many of the tests you should be taking will be easy to get.

I have Kaiser insurance, and they HATE testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) in men. I only have 100 mg a week prescribed from kaiser, 200mg from another doctor. Because of my size and I eat testosterone fast, I find that 400 mg a week makes me feel normal. I also have to take 1mg of liquidex a day because of problems with estrogen. I also have issues with HCG, which if I wasn't trying to make a baby, I would never use.

There is also the legal aspect, if you are traveling, having a valid script can keep you out of jail. Which if a cop decides to be an ass, can arrest you for controlled substances if you don't have a script.

Its nice to not have to worry about weird packages never arriving at your house.
