TRT test Cyp question??

For those who are on TRT... Last monday was my first day of TRT at 100mg test cyp... every 7 days.

1. How long should it take for me to feel the effects at the dosage i am taking..

Side note.. I noticed 2 days after my shot blood pressure was a little elevated ( I could tell)... Got some grapefruit juice to counterbalance that.

Just wondering what time frame to expect those positive changes @ 100mg E7D.... of test cyp.

Most people will start to see changes at around week four or beyond once it builds up in your system. I personally would not inject once a week but split into two smaller injections to avoid any roller coaster effects. Just my .02 - good luck with it!

mentally i felt better in a week, two weeks some libido changes, 3 weeks had morning wood and after 6 weeks like was brand new again

Hope i get there too. Since my last shot on monday i feel mentally aggressive and mentally dominant in a way... not for sure if i am feeling mental clarity but i am leaning towards mentally aggressive just a notch...... Not for sure if thats good or bad....

i take 200 mg a week, and my doc front loaded me with 600 so I had crazy anxiety and sweats for 3 days but it went away and things have been great

Gotcha bhrees .....so the fact that i am at 100mg test cyp per week....it might take a while to feel the full affect.??

Everyone responds differently. Some feel the effects sooner than others. I think in part it may have to do with what your starting natural T levels are but I don't have scientific proof of that. Remember that your natural T is shutting down (what's left of it anyway) while you are injecting T. So it takes a little time to build up your T levels. And also keep in mind that some people are more self-aware of changes in their body and how they feel.

I started feeling a LOT better after two weeks and each week after felt even better. I was loving life for about 8 weeks. Then my estradiol got too high and I had to figure things out again. I was not on an Aromatase inhibitor (AI). So be prepared for some setbacks along with ups and downs. You may need to make some adustments along the way. Just try to listen to your body and get frequent lab work in the beginning.

One other thing to keep in mind is that when you first start testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) that it is going to take you a month or so for your T to level off due to the ester and half life of the T.

Megatron28.....what dosage were you at a week when estradiol creeped in. I take it you got that situation ironed out... did you have to back down in dosage and/or are you on an AI.

Here is a link with all of my lab results and what my various protocol changes have been. I hope this helps you. Just remember that everyone is different.

You can see when my estradiol started creeping up. I tried splitting the doses and that really seemed to help keep down the aromitisation; but I wanted higher T-levels. I am currently taking Arimidex - and still injecting twice a week. I am taking 200mg of Test Cyp per week (split into two injections) and 1mg of Arimidex per week (split into two doses). I take the Aromatase inhibitor (AI) at the same time as when I inject to make it easy to remember to take it.

Preciate it again Meg..... My main purpose is to regain that quality of life back... i could care less about muscles popping out everywhere..... I wanna be that Stud in the bedroom with a special lady. (If you know what i mean!!!)
