TRT - With long-acting Testosterone ester

Greetings
Ok a random scenario; A person on TRT gets injections of Testo Undecanoate (Nebido) which
is obviously a long acting ester. Gets a injection once every 12 weeks.

Now I have heard from different sources that some people like to add a little more Testosterone sometimes to get a boost
in well being, energy etc. On top of their Nebido.

Like an injection once a week of ~50-150mg of Testo Enanthate for a couple of weeks and then back to only Nebido for some weeks/months
and then a boost again. Etc.

Is this possible, can one really get such boost by adding more Testo into these short "booster periods" ?

Thanks in advance!

If your TRT protocol does not have you feeling well, then your TRT protocol needs to be revisited/evaluated. Adding to it is not the right solution.

This is just a scenario, im actually not on Nebido as of now.
But this sparked an interest when talking to people who are and who do this thing.
They feel pretty good or Better of the nebido than they did before but they still add extra Test Enanthate/Cypionate
sometimes to get that extra boost or edge if you know what I mean.

Here in Sweden we only have Nebido as an injectable testosterone product and
the protocol is 1000mg once every 10-14 weeks.
I wish we had Testo Enanthate or Cypionate from the health care.

Im interested if other people here do this kind of thing too from time to time and what your take on it is.

Sounds like what they are doing is supplementing test as their testosterone levels are bottoming out. When you only inject once every 10-14 weeks you start with high T levels and at the end they are very low. The best thing would be to inject more frequently.

For comparison, most guys find that injecting Test C or E every 3.5 days works best to keep their testosterone and estradiol levels stable.
