Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) with no significant increase in T

TRT with no significant increase in T

So in March had my initial blood ran....Test around the 350 mark....started on, I believe 150 cyp, every 7 days titrating up to 200 cyp every 7 days.
So retest T came back around 600 in May....at that point started me on 250 cyp every 7 days. Started to feel really good with crazy lipido etc....then shortly after my E2 skyrocketed to 130 range but my T was little under 800. Started on Aromatase inhibitor (AI) every other day until last week and got my E2 down to 14 but even remaining at 250 cyp weekly (which Doc says is max dose) my T dropped to around 600 again....I also don't feel as good and kinda don't see the point. They can't seem to give me an answer as to why my T stays in the 600 range even though I am on max dose weekly. Does anyone have any answers to that paradox?

They are now wanting to continue with the 250 cyp every 5 or 6 days (instead of 7) and back off the AI....I want my T up but really don't want the E2 to skyrocket again (and that's a fear)....although at 14 I have some joint pain and other issues too....

Anyone out there have this experience or can answer these concerns?

It sounds like you are metabolizing the test. In other words, it is aromatizing into estrogen probably and just being used by your muscles or urinated out. Try splitting your test dose into two 125mg injections every 3.5 days. This will help even you out during the week and help keep the aromatization down.

How much Aromatase inhibitor (AI) and which one are you taking EOD? 14 is on the low side for E2. Having low E makes you feel like shit. It would probably help to back of the Aromatase inhibitor (AI) some.

Do you have full labs with reference ranges that you can share? That would help a lot.

Are you monitoring your hematocrit?

SHBG is the likely culprit IMO BUT need to see blood work to say anything for certain.

No labs other than T and E2. They wont take them unless I asked. Last week when I asked they said $400 min. I have really good insurance but they don't take insurance and felt that was high. I really want a full lab so I can see what else may be going on. They don't think anything is wrong and want to just rerun test and e2 in two weeks.

I was taking Adex .5 every other day. Now they want me to take it on injection day and 3 days after. And come in every 5 or 6 days for 250 injection of test. They don't break it up any different then that. I could ask to lower the test and do every 5 days though if you think that would help increase test but keep everything else in check?
