TRT without LH/FSH Shutdown

I am just curious - has anyone wondered about substituting the necessary testosterone to achieve high normal levels that does not trigger negative feedback in the testicles? I know most people on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) have non working testicles to begin with, but mine hurt and shutdown with too high of a test dose, and I have been using low doses of custom 10% gel which seem to be working well...without shrinking my nuts.

Not possible... Any outside AAS that you take will negatively affect your HPTA and shut you down partially or completely.

You can only "fool" your Testicals into still functioning by using HCG and/or HMG.
Your HPTA as a whole is still shut down though...

I see...I noticed my thyroid immediately pulsing like crazy lol...as T3/T4 levels drop for use in conversion. So how soon on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is it necessary to start substituting thyroid and cortisol etc?

Confused with the thread. Are you talking about Cycles shutting you down (500mg+) or testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) shutting you down as well as getting thyroid symptoms (100-200mg test)?

Actually you can use a testosterone cream/gel on scrotum and it will help keep DHT levels high enough for libido support and keep estrogen at bay. Is it better than HCG? Hell No. But the test creams/gels do work effective enough to keep you feeling good down below. I use 200mgs daily on scrotum area and it is great- along with HCG.

It also has been shown that using a Test Cream/Gel on scrotum you can keep DHT levels high enough to avoid having to take an Aromatase inhibitor (AI). Apply it twice daily- am and pm before bed. It will do wonders.

High DHT is not a good thing always. Especially for me and others that may have BPH problems...My prostate swells up to about the size of a softball. That is one of the reasons me a winstrol does not get along.
High DHT will make others go thin up on the scalp.Luckily I dont have that problem... just my prostate doesn't like high DHT levels.

High levels of estrogen and DHT must be present to cause prostrate issues. DHT must be present for libido. So its a double-edged sword. Libido is first and foremost. Without it running rampant what's the use of TRT?

Just because you're on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), it doesn't mean you can't have kids. Even with low LH and FSH levels, you can still have a normal or above sperm count, even without HMG or HCG. That being said, the size of your testicles now compared to when you used high doses is typical. That is why guys use HCG to keep the balls full.

Either way, like the boys said, any exogenous test, or things like Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), will suppress the HPTA.

I agree that some DHT is a good thing. Some people are just more sensitive to DHT then others. Some like you have no issues if their DHT is sky high... Others, some of those that use Testosterone gels complain about prostate issues and/or shedding hair.Even when not applying Test gels to the scrotum and putting it on chest, stomach and arms gel increases DHT much more then injecting Testosterone. I've read that the absorption percentage is much higher when when applied to the scrotum though. More absorption of the gel..more DHT conversion...

Most people that have issues with gels are much happier when they switch to injections only.

We just need to find a balance in each individual that works for them.

Well I'm using less than 50mgs injection and my balls are big. When I inject 200mg or even 100mg they turn into peanuts. I don't think a low dose of test if you are low will suppress the HPTA that much.

Depends on what is causing your low testosterone levels.

If your body is cranking out LH and your testes are just not producing like they should then just a small amount of Test would not....You would just be compensating for what your Testicals can not produce.

If everything is working optimally and/or your body "thinks" it is making enough Testosterone then a small amount of exogenous would affect your HPTA. Decreasing the amount of Testosterone your body makes on its own.

It depends on how a persons HPTA is not functioning correctly in the process...

My natural test levels are 11.5 nmol due to using cycles of AAS and pro hormones, my levels should be around 20nmol for my age. I am now considering Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) but would love a natural alternative.

there isn't one brother. Go to your doctor and get on a prescribed Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) regimen. Or call one of the sponsors. No life is good with low test levels.
