The dumbest steroid article ive ever read

She does present some good points as the heart as any organ can only take so much before throwing in the towel and the rate of work that it has to perform day after day with all those chemicals mixed with the training load and lifestyle that most chase after in bars, beaches, girl hunting to show off those figures that chicks go bananas over.
Having said that, a very good article that everyone should check out as our health and hearts are first and foremost in this world of aas.

It's a fact that a lot of people who use aas are also involved in heavy use of narcotics. Also a lot of aas users drink and smoke cigarettes. Sure steroids aren't the best thing for someone but when you add in other stuff like drugs, alcohol, cigarettes that's when they become really bad for you.

Another thing mentioned in the article is how aas users are health conscious with their diet. That is definitely true for a lot of us but I've known quite a few people that ate everything and anything which is also very bad.

Then if you get totally wreck less and do drugs, smoke, drink and eat like shit then the obvious will happen. Which is an early death.

We're all in this game and we all know the good and the bad. At the end of the day I hope we all live a long and decent life.

The study was done on 24 males... that died within a span of 17 years. 63% of them also used Coke & Meth. 25% of commited suicide, which account for 22 out of the 24 deaths.

That leave us with 2 deaths over 17 years, that are loosely tied to heart disease. I bet if you drill down on those 2 deaths, you'll find even less of a correlation.

The deaths I've seen directly from steroid use are usually from serious abusers that push the 300 pound envelope, or are reckless with there gear. Muntzer, El Sombaty, Kovacs,Youngblood, Atwood.

Given the amount of people that use gear, if there was a real correlation, it would be an epidemic.

What counts as a safe dose of steroids, and what is abuse?

The only guidelines that I've seen are from Dr Rand McClain, who suggests that up to around 600 mg (of testosterone) per week is relatively safe, provided cholesterol, oestrogen, and hematocrit are monitored. More than that will rapidly increase risks.

Is McClain conservative or even clueless?

I've got neither practical experience, nor much theoretical knowledge of cycling. I'm a TRT patient. But even that is believed to be a risk for heart problems. I could see larger doses as being less healthy.

Some would consider the issue that arise from low testosterone to be much more adverse than being on TRT.

true that and if I had a dollar for each Newbie thread and Newbie post that i have seen here borderlining abuse and safe doses I could of ran for President last year and won.
