After waiting i finally saw the endo to discuss the low T levels in my blood work. She asked many questions and said i likely need testosterone therapy. She ordered another blood with the female panel and also to check my pituitary gland which has not yet been tested. Sleep apnea has been ruled out. She has mentioned if the pituitary levels look fine that she wants to put me testosterone to get my levels to 600 and no higher being i do not have any kids. She also mentioned the most effective method is injections once every two weeks. I had told her after researching that i read once a week or once every 5 days is what i come to understand is most effective due to the half life of test cyp, and she said she has never seen any case where more than once every 2 weeks has been necessary. I of course am going to wait to get the results back of the test, but if the pituitary gland is fine and i do indeed start TRT, will the 2 week spread cause me a hormonal roller coaster ride i have read about? i am glad to have finally been seen and hope to make progress, however I am nervous about the whole thing, and am paranoid i may need an MRI and discover a pituitary tumor!

I saw my Endo today and she prescribed trt at 200 MG every 2 weeks and I asked her the same thing and she said some people don't get the spike and crash and that if I wanted to do 100 MG per week instead that it would be fine. She left that up to me.

1) Your TT levels and kids have nothing to do with one another. Once you inject, fertility will decrease. I am a perfect example. Since stopping HCG 2 months ago, my above average fertility readings (semen analysis) have gone down by about 25% and are now normal to borderline low... and probably will continue to drop. Whether my TT was 300 or 900 from injections, this would have happened.

2) "she said she has never seen any case where"... that's because she has never administered TRT. Not to say you shouldn't use her if shes your only option, but you better start reading about this stuff as there will be a decent bit of self treatment involved. At a minimum, like you said, more frequent injections.

If given the option, once a week isn't bad. I have a friend on 100mg once a week and he loves it. No crash for him. Most guys opt for twice a week.

wait it out and see what she gives you.. if its 200mg every two weeks just do 100 a week.. you'll be fine

I've also thought about splitting it into 50mg twice a week. I'll try both. If I don't notice a difference I'll leave it at once a week. Maybe that low of a dose is in significant. All one can do is experiment with it and see how his individual body reacts.

ill tell you guys something interesting..

i had to leave the country for about 14 days recently. instead of risking customs, i decided to inject 250mg before i left..

at 250mg.. my energy was through the roof, my sex drive had never been better, and i was controlling my estrogen with 1/2mg adex twice a week.. i took the adex with me..

really did feel amazing.. but sustaining higher levels of test like that for a long period of time is not good for you i would imagine.. im sure if i did bloods i'd easily be anywhere from 1700-2000 for a short period of time..

Yup just from that crashed about 15 days later right before my next injection

I started my TRT treatment on 8/12 with a 200mg injection of test c and I don't feel any different. I go for blood work on the 26th to check T levels.

thanks for the replies guys. i didnt even think about self administering therefor allowing me to split the dose weekly. I am a little freaked out about the idea of injecting myself, but i guess thats normal in the beginning? Im sure it becomes like clockwork after some experience.I take the blood test monday morning so will have to wait and see.

Doesn't your Test come scripted(name on it)?
If so you have nothing to worry about.

I know, right! I honestly don't get the 4-6 week thing. I felt it after 2-3 days! I checked my levels at work 4 days after my first injection, which happened to be 200mg, and it was 1220....

Yup!
I was hypo for 16 months took first shot of Test at 160 mg...
Had mild insomnia that night but woke up in the morning with drive of an ox!
Boners, libido u name it.
4 weeks. Pffff!!!!
Stuff kicks in faster than that.

So what you're saying is if you are hypo then it kicks in faster (or at least you feel it faster)? Why is it that a lot people taking 500mg per week of test while on cycle don't feel the effects until like week 6-7? Is it that they are feeling it, but don't realize it? Your saying 2-3 days and he just said he doesn't feel anything after almost 2 weeks. Sorry if I put out some misinformation. I was basing that off of my personal prior experience on test. Maybe I feel it later because I'm 250+lbs?

I'm starting my TRT regimen next week, so I hope I feel it in 2-3 days like you are saying.

You might be confusing feeling the effects and seeing results. I felt a difference within a few days of my first injection. By the 6th week is when I could tell a major difference all day every day and started to notice a lot of changes.

It's probably going to be 4-6 weeks from the 1st injection before you start to feel anything.

Ehh.... people say that... but I don't fully believe it. I'll swear all day long I felt it within a day or two. Not everything is ironed out in a few days, but I could definitely tell things were changing.

First injection is scary. I was scared as hell and I was only using an insulin syringe which is baby size compared to what some of these guys do. After about 2 minutes of staring at the needle, I finally just did it and it was virtually painless. They get better each time. I don't even think about it now.

I basically do this, but I still like to pinch a little piece of fat instead of just jabbing straight in.
