this is harder than I thought

Ok remember I was going to start a diet and have someone write me a plan. Well I got my plan and let me say first off, until you see it and what you should be doing, you dont realize how much your diet sucks. Well my diet. Ohh yes I ate clean but the macros holy crap was I off.

Im still alittle in shock over this. My plan calls to lose body fat for 5 days Protien 170, carbs 100, fat 40 then 2 days protien 150, carbs 180, fat 35. Plus getting in 20 grams of fiber a day. IM IN PAIN PEOPLE PAIN!!!!

Ok today was my first day, doing the 170, 100,40

here is the day so far

2 egg whites , 1 whole egg ,1 slice of ww bread, coffee, no sugar creamer, 1 teaspoon of no sugar ketsup

4 oz turkey, spinach raw, cabbage raw, 1 low carb english muffin ( whole foods some heath crap) ketsup

1 low carb shake

salad, with cabbage, broccli, spinach, 1 teaspoon dressing
4 0z chicken



and thats where I stand right now. The number right now at totals are

130 protien/70 carbs/ 20 fat /13 fiber


How the hell can I eat 40 more grams of protien. I need to plan better. This is tough. I am 145 lbs trying to lose body fat and this is alot. Now mind you my diet before sucked but it was basically low on protien by this plan and carbs all night. This really is a challenge. DO you think this sounds right !!! If so how can I space out my protien better so I dont wind up at 130 at 6 pm and am stuffed and need 40 grams more. I NEED SOME IDEAS!!!!! Planning is everything here. ANd I cant believe I am going to lose weight on this.

I guess I will throw in some egg whites tonight, and some low fat cheese. I need to space all this out better. I was not ready and did not realize the amounts. My old diet really was as MM would put it crapola!! Im so stuffed.

ok im just throwing crap to eat here in the end and tommorrow I WILL plan this better. Try and remember the first time you did this. This is hell. Im so full and here is the totals at the end. I threw in peanut butter and 1 slice low fat cheese just to up the fat and protien and get this over with im tired and want to stop eating and counting!!!

End result for first day doing this 146 protien/78 carbs/41 fat/ 15 fiber

so I was suppost to hit 170 protien/100 carbs/40 fat/20 fiber. Better planning tommorrow any ideas. Any way to get the fiber up and protien?? Is close good for the first day??????????

Just to add everything I eat is natural/non processed so when I say Peanut butter its not skippy. thanks all. IM STUFFED>

Yes tommorrow will be better planning on the higher protien days. The days the protien are 150 and carbs 180 may be easier.

Im done the end is close enough. I just cant eat anymore. The key now is to eat more in the morning. I thought this would be easy. I see that hitting 170 grams of protien is not easy and you know what , my old diet reallly was lacking. I thought I had it, but boy was I so wrong. Its mind blowing how stuffed I am. I can handle not eating the carbs like my old bad diet was lacking in protien and definately high in carbs. However missing carbs is not a problem its spacing out all the protien. Im proud that I got close and really just used what was in my house. TOmmorrow shopping and planning. Thanks.

I think I ate more protien today then I did in 6 months. so Im close I need my bed.

I hate to be critical. I just think there are better ways to do this unless it is a cut in a short time frame.

well there are actually snacks, its the way you plan it out. You see the main thing that I have to hit is the macronutrients. The macros 5 days are 170/100/40 then 2 days at 150/180//35. So I need to space it out better and plan for snacks. As far as being low calorie 5 days at 1440 cals, and 2 days at 1685 cals. So that could be considered low? Layne Norton wrote it for me to lose bodyfat. I need to lose 5 - 10 lbs. I think so far its going good as far as feeling full.

You say better ways, please point me in that direction. Thanks for answering my post too!!
 
not to just jump in on this convo. but when you guys are talking about raw milk are you talking about unpasturized milk???? or am i way off? haha
 
yes I think that is what he is talking about. In NJ you can get raw milk cheese but not milk, its illegal. Got to go to CT to get it. But I am sure that is what he is taking about.
 
my parents actually get raw milk. yes it is illegal but the farm that they go through which we know them very well and they have a ton of customers.... is you buy a share of a cow so they pay 40 dollars a month for two gallons which is very pricey but she makes yogurt cheese and butter from this milk. its a farm out in cohoctah mi. pretty small town. they check the cows twice a month to make sure they are healthy because non pasturized milk im sure you know can be very dangerous to a persons health if the cow is sick or has any diseases. if anyone wants the persons name or anymore info let me know!

This will make you lose weight yes....but you are so low on calories. I would say you could still lose weight adding in an extra 200-500 calories per day.

As for protein....shakes are a great way to get proper protein.

I would say add in as many fibrous veggies as you want. Eat them throughout the day...just carry a big container with you. This will help you feel better along with lots of water, crystal lite, diet pop.

To me this is pretty much a contest diet. I personally think you can lose weight without dieting this extreme.

However give it a fair chance...you may adjust.

Remember you could do a shake like blondie said, but to really increase ur metabolism you need whole foods. It might be tough but this is a tough lifestyle and you have to push ur limits.

The biggest mis-conception nowadays is that more food is bad and will make you gain fat. This is bull, and as long as the quality of the food is high, ur eating the right amount of calories, then a meal every 2 hours will make you lose soo much more fat than the latter.

Stick to this and i think you should see pretty good results. This is similair to the plan i have my wife on and she is making extremely good progress.

True true. You could prob afford to add a few more cals like MM says, but i would make sure they are super high quality cals. Like i said my wife is bout 5lbs smaller than you, but muscular and she is still gaining mass with this, but also losing bf. We get her checked every 2 weeks. But like many will tell you, everyone is diff and you just have to assess yourself, period.

Also, MM had a good point about the water intake. My wife keeps her water intake at least 1 gal every day, minimum! This is very important for alot of reasons, especially when trying to lose weight
 
thanks all of you so much!! I am having a better day. EXCEPT how do I fit in more fiber without alot of CARBS??? I am doing much better on the protien today too! I am spacing it out more.
 
much better the only problem I forsee is getting in the fiber with out putting alot of carbs into the picture. Any ideas on high protien high fiber low carb items?? But much better because I planned it out. I put more protien in the breakfast and post work out meal so at the evening Im not stuffing egg whites down my throat. However I have come to some funny conclusions doing this, #1 I hate cleaning the blender everyday, so I need to buy another blender. #2 counting all day long sucks #3 Im in the bathroom so much more due to lower carbs and water loss. #4 Im just plain old stuffed and I cant believe this is LOW calorie!! #5 Steriods are the easier way, less counting, less blending!!

Its so amazing how bad my diet before really was! I just cant believe it. Its hard to eat all this for me. I am so used to just carbing out and never realized how easy the carbs go down and how hard all the protien goes down.

I got on the scale this morning due to being in the bathroom all yesterday and was blown away. The water loss is like 3 lbs!!! See how crappy carbs can mess you up!

my numbers will be much better today. Now tommorrow is the 150P/180C/35F day. So that should be a ton easier because I am adding 80 more carbs and 20 less protien. This ought to be a real interesting. I have to email Layne next week and tell him my new scale numbers and how I feel. I feel mentally great! I am just full.

This was really like I said the last piece of the puzzle for me to be a better bodybuilder. I never really thought this marco crap was so important. Now that I am doing it, and really doing it (not half assed) I cant wait to see the results.

I only have one problem on this guy Layne's program and its not the food. Its actually the HIIT! I am suppost to do 2 times a week HIIT and 2 times a week moderate cardio (heart rate 120-140 ) for my age. Now the problem for me is what he considers moderate/low intensity is really MY HIGH INTENSITY. How the hell am I going to get my heart rate up to High intensity when 140 is killer for me. This is going to be a problem. I need to just start this HIIT slow. I have been doing cardio all along but at 120 HR for 40 minutes basically steady state so now I got to train my lungs to get to somehow high intensity. I dont know if I can do that. I used to be a crack head so my lungs are still recovering for 10 years of getting high. I am sober now been along time but the damage is still done. I will do my best. Thanks Marilyn
