To much chest sets?

I was at the gym the other day and some guy comes up to me and tells me I do to many sets/reps so it got me wondering if I was. So what do you think?

I start off with 185x15
225x10
275x8
315x5
315x5
315x5
break down 275x 6-8

Thats doesn't look like to much to me. (Assuming you don't kill it on other excercises.)


Plus, do what you think works for you. If progress stalls, try something different. But if your still gaining, just keep doing what your doing.
 
if that is all you're doing for chest then it looks fine IMO. If that's just what you do for bench and then go do fly's and incline as well then yes, this fella may be right.
