i started getting sick on saturday but loaded up on echinacea, felt better sunday did about a hour and 10 minutes of shoulders and traps. felt kinda sick in the mourning and loaded up on more echinacea, then i went to the gym later that night and did back and biceps for a hour or so. i felt really sick and didnt sleep well that night only got about 3 hours of sleep, and right when i woke up i had a protein shake and some oatmeal and went to the gym since i knew i wasnt gonna go later, came home dieted perfect all day, later that night went to my gf's graduation, still felt fine. then the next day i woke up (thursday) and i felt good, picked my girlfriend up, fell asleep with her, and then i woke up and i couldnt pick my arms up, my body felt like shit, i tried to get up and it took me 5 minutes to move my way to the end of the bed. later that day i had a 105 degree temperature, then it went away. i took my temperature later after i felt alot better than when i couldnt move, it felt like the time i had 107.5 temp.
my question is did training while sick make me get sicker, or was that just the sickness playing its role? i felt beter then it got worse, i felt better then it got worse. since your body is trying to recuperate from the workout and consentrating on protein synthesis and building the muscle back up and not on gettin me well again. i just think i have been training to hard and not taking a break and it was my body making me take a couple days off.
