Im not sure that this is even an issue but does anybody know if there is an ideal time to train? for example early morning as oposed to late night...

any input is appreciated

just depends oh how you are personally i like to train wieght training at night around 6 or 7 buts thats because i work early in the morning
i usually do cardio mid-day because i have more energy then / it just really depends on what you do besides wieght lifting that determines when is a good time to train for yourself

so i guess the ideal time is when you want to or force yourself too:)

I think it’s different for each person. I have heard your natural Test levels are higher in the AM therefore you should be stronger in the AM. But I have also heard that in the evening you are stronger because you have fueled your body all day.

The joints are not at an ideal level of lubrication first thing in the morning; takes a few hours after waking up before the joints are ideally "greased" by the body. A more thorough warm-up will address that though. Strength production from the CNS is not ideal first thing in the morning; it takes a few hours after waking up for neural factors affecting strength to start working at full capacity. That being the case though, increases in strength will be still be relative (i.e. gain 5% on your morning max, and you'll still gain roughly 5% on the higher max that you could pull off later in the day).

Testosterone levels peak around 6 AM and again around 6 PM. Working out in the evening can make it difficult for some people to fall asleep at bedtime.

It all depends on what's ideal for your situation. I prefer midday lunch time for my workouts usually as it breaks up my work day. But I still get my ass out doing sprint intervals first thing in the mornings when I'm cutting.

Just warm up first if you do it in the morning.

I seem to get much better results when I work out in the morning, but I am naturally a night owl, so I absolutely cannot get myself awake enough to train in the morning. The times that I was forced to, for cross country and such (yes, we lifted weights for cross country) I got much, much better results than when I work out at night.
