Tren and Test Recomp (Road to 9-10% BF)

ChaseTheYoke

Half Man, Half Amazing
25yo
198lbs
12% bf
6'2"

Gonna start test @ 400/w just to get super physiological levels.
Tren A @ 75mg ed for starters = 525mg/w

Gonna go with a 20% deficit throughout duration of cycle
TDEE: 2500 (after 20% decrease)
238g Protein (198 * 1.2)
55g Fat (20%)
263g Carbs (Remainder of cals)

I'd like to hear some thoughts on the diet. I used the Katch McArdle forumla to get my TDEE (1.5x).

Using pharma-grade exemstane at 12.5mg ed and have caber on hand, as well as evista.

Is this your first tren run man? If so I'd really suggest dropping the tren to 300 and the test to 150. You REALLY don't need much.

Your diet seems to be more cutting based rather than a recomp. For a recomp I tend to find people eating at or ever so slightly above maintenance. If you prefer to make it a cutter that's cool, just wanted to point that bit out.

I plan on doing a recomp/cutter like next month or so. Test will be at 150 to 200 and tren at 300 to 350 per week. I would also shoot for 350 to 400 g protein if I were you . At least 300. You're going to be on tren, make the best of it!

The biggest thing with tren is to control E2. Don't "have things on hand", use them from the beginning. Keep that E2 in check , start caber, from day 1 dude. Trust me.

Good luck bro! Keep us posted on your cycle.

I don't think there is any need to run caber from day 1 unless you are particularly prone to prolactin sides. Keep the E2 under control (I think that stane dose should), and you should be fine.

Diet looks like a cut to me. If I had your stats I would be looking at a massive dirty fucking bulk...but that's just me. Good luck with it.

if youre trying to recomp why reduce the calories that much below your tdee?

This is my first diet attempt other than a clean bulk. I've read a lot on keeping a 20% deficit and reverse dieting as needed. Many naturals have reported 1-3% drop in bf over 8 weeks and losing no more than a couple reps as far as strength. Perhaps the more accurate description is a cut, but was hoping to add some LBM while reducing bf. Which, with tren, shouldn't be too difficult.

maybe 3J can elaborate a bit on this, but I'd rather keep protein at 1.2g per lb than cut my carbs and increase odds of protein breakdown vs synthesis.

I thought u were with 3j awhile back?
If so u should have learned something dieting wise
Carb cycling works wonders for your goals, but a 2 to 3 percent loss in bf isn't that much u could do that in 2 to 3 weeks bro if u are dialed in properly
I take it u are worried about gaining a bit of fat in the process of a bulk? Cause your stats have seemed the same for the past year or so
If u did the traditional bulk in the winter, chop in the spring, u wouldn't have an issue on what goals u want to choose instead u are heading in a route of trying to do both, it's not impossible but using a coach like 3j guiding u towards your goals makes things a lot easier

I've been working over seas for the last several months and the Indonesian food was pretty unbearable. I lost around 10 lbs and maintained my bf at 12% (yay me) somehow. Anyways, I've went from 165 to 215ish and now sitting 205 and feel like I wanna be shredded for once. Been putting off cutting for years (probably bc I was skinny most of my life) so I figured I'd see what ot was about.
