TRT and "cycling"?

I'm sure this question has been answered many times over but I'm having trouble locating exact topic discussions, so here goes. I have started 100mg cypionate per week for trt. Keeps my levels high end of normal (1180 4 days after shot) . I see my doc every 6 months now for new prescription and blood work. If I were to cycle 3 months at 500 per week and then go back to 100 per week for 3 months leading up to doc visit.......could I feasibly hold onto some of my gains if diet and workout stayed the same? This would mean 2 "cycles" per year of 500mg with 100mg bridging the gap. Also, could I expect my bloodwork to return to normal trt bloodwork in 3 months back at trt doses? Does anyone do this and have some personal experience they could impart?
Please forgive my ignorance. I'm sure these questions are very elementary to many of you. Thanks for taking the time to read.

Yes, easily. You are only 200 lbs at 18% BF. And you only have been in the gym for 5 years. You are a far ways off from surpassing the "gains" that TRT can maintain.

Thank you Megatron! Precisely what I was hoping to hear :) Expectations from this new journey are difficult for me to anticipate. I will be adapting my workouts and diet to try to find what is right for me throughout what will surely be drastic hormonal changes. It will take some time to learn my body in these new conditions.
Again....thanks
