Hi all!
New to TRT and this forum. Spending hours reading through the forums. I've read it can sometimes take a year or more to get the TRT dialed in but I'm hoping I'm close.
Here are my stats:
42yo in a few weeks. 6'2" 190 lbs., Vasectomy so no concerns about future children. Fatigue, decreased sex drive, Morning wood diminishing, weight gain (fat, not muscle)
Labs 1/14/13: Total test: 351 (N= 241-827), no free test ordered, Vit D 25-OH: 23L (N=30-100).
Started 10,000 IU Vitamin D. Primary Care Physician said testosterone was fine....so I fired him!
Found new primary care physician.
Labs 4/26/13: Total Testosterone 326 ng/dL( N=250-1100) , Free Test 51.5pg/mL (N= 35-155) , Hematocrit: 46.6 (N= 38.5-50). Everything else normal.
Started Test Cyp 200mg, 1cc every 14 days. Continue Vitamin D: 10,000 IU daily.
Follow up labs 7/2/13- 14 days after last injection. : Total test: 382, Free test: 70.3, E2: 27 (N= <39), Hematocrit: 47.8 (N= 38.5-50)
Changed dosage to 1/2 cc (100mg) weekly.
Labs: 10/5/13- 5 days after last injection: Total test: 911, Free Test: 229.6, E2: 31pg/nL (N= <39)
Dr. said to keep all the same and recheck Labs in 6 mos.
Feeling better overall but not 100%. I'm guessing based on the last labs that I'm peaking over a 1000 on the total Test and dropping to high 800's to low 900's over the week.
Should I inject 1/4 cc (50mg) two times per week to balance out the levels? Should I be concerned about Hematocrit even though it hasn't changed much with TRT?
Thanks in advance to all! Sorry if this was long winded!
